The villa located in the Firriato estate is unique due to its location overlooking the sea and in front of beautiful stacks, in one of the most beautiful stretches of the coast of Sicily, on the edge of the Zingaro nature reserve.
The Firriato estate (30 thousand square meters), with its forest, is one of the few pristine environments with a naturalistic and landscape value of absolute value.
The villa was born from the renovation of an ancient ruin located near the tip that closes the Gulf of the trap of San Vito Lo Capo. The villa is bordered to the south by rock walls and deep caves, by a wide slope covered by Mediterranean scrubland to the west, by a deep forest of ash and holm oaks to the east, which extends to the tip of the gulf where is the famous pond of Venus.
There are no other buildings within 2 Km.
The villa consists of 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room with adjoining kitchen, a large terrace overlooking the sea.
One of the 4 bedrooms is located at a lower level, and has an independent entrance, without services.
For bathing you can reach:
- walk the cliff and the stacks below through a downhill dirt track, and a final stretch of rocks (about 10 m) which requires normal motor skills.
- on foot the "little lake of Venus", a small and suggestive natural inlet protected by high rocks, with a 15 minute walk of exceptional naturalistic interest, in the ash wood.
- by car the sandy beach of San Vito Lo Capo (7 Km).
- by car the Zingaro reserve (6 Km).
To reach the villa, take the provincial road towards the Zingaro nature reserve, after 7 km turn left for a dirt road of about 1.5 km that goes down to the villa. The use of an appropriate vehicle (4x4) is required.
Villa Firriato is ideal for those who want an exclusive, isolated place, away from the noise and congestion of tourist resorts, for those who cultivate naturalistic interests, for those who like to contemplate Mediterranean landscapes and starry nights, quite exceptional.
The choice, however, does not exclude, covering 7 Km. By car, the use of the beautiful sandy beach of the village of San Vito, its cultural and musical events.
