About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

White Pearl Holiday House, PRIVATE POOL, FREE WI-FI, all the conforts

Lovely cottage in the countryside of Castelluzzo, surrounded by olive trees and mediterranean vegetation, situated in an ancient Sicilian Baglio (ancient farm house used to prepare bread, olive oil, wine or cheeses) and neighbor with other properties. Here life flows slower, traffic does not exist, loud music does not reach it, the only sound you hear in the morning is the singing birds.

Inside has 4/6 beds in a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds (convertible into double), a loft with a double bed, a bathroom with shower and the second bathroom has a large soaking tub mosaic. The living room is furnished with sofa bed and dining table, with access to a convenient kitchenette.

The outdoor area allows you to enjoy the most of your relaxation: lying on the sun beds by the pool, shaded from the sun or sitting comfortably on the sofas of the relax area with a refreshing drink. From the rooftop terrace of the relax area you can enjoy beautiful sunsets over the sea.

The swimming pool (1.50 meters deep and open from May to October) is surrounded by a large garden (fenced) with lawn, olive trees, fruit trees and typical Sicilian plant, which gives the color and freshness garden.

The veranda allows you to prepare and cook meals using the outdoor kitchen or BBQ, and then enjoy them comfortably outdoors.

Appliances supplied the house: air conditioner in the living room, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob, large fridge-freezer, espresso machine, turntable player with radio, large flat screen TV with access to satellite channels free, free WI-FI, solar panels that provide constantly hot water. In addition, the house has an independent heating system, useful to heat the house if you decide to stay in the colder periods. The heating cost is not included in the rental price.
The price does not include the electricity used during your stay (€ 0,40 / kw used).
Due to experiences with some guests not particularly attentive to electricity management, we had to make the choice to exclude electricity consumption from the rental price. In doing so, the guests are much more careful and do not leave the appliances on all day, while they are on the beach, especially the air conditioner. Using this precaution, a family can spend an average of € 50 a week on extra electricity consumption. This may vary depending on the customers' personal use of the appliances: washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioning, water pome, etc. Today our planet is suffering from the intense exploitation of water and electricity by man. With a bit of attention we can all contribute together to plan it for our children's future.
Optional: heating to be paid according to consumption.

The house also has a private parking lot in front enough for 2 cars.

Along the coast, about 2 km from the house starts a nature trail of the most evocative of the western Sicilian coast. From the Gulf of Mount Cofano to the cliffs of Cala Mancina, between cliffs, bays and coves the coast offers excellent bathing alternatives to the famous beach of San Vito Lo Capo, in the months of peak season registers a high number of tourists. Here we find beautiful pebbly beach with crystal clear waters, the beautiful sandy bay of Santa Margherita equipped for hire loungers and umbrellas and a small bar. From June to September the access to the beaches is closed to traffic, and can be reached with the hilarious Ercolino free train that connects the two free car parks to the beaches. The train makes several stops giving you the chance to visit all of the cliff among the many coves of sand and pebbles.

Continuing towards San Vito Lo Capo, at the village of Makari, the coast enchants again: the Isulidda Beach and Cala del Bue Marino awarded Best Beach in Italy in 2015 attracts us with the turquoise sea or the red of the horizon at sunset. Snorkelers will enjoy the beautiful fish-rich waters. The area is also frequented by climbers who find on the territory of San Vito a wide range of climbing areas.

Only 10 km away, the beach of San Vito Lo Capo, it is definitely a breathtaking beauty, but, along with it, you will discover many hidden corners, truly unique as the Zingaro Nature Reserve and that of Mount Cofano, the ancient village of Erice, the Archaeological Park of Segesta, the Salt Pans of Trapani, the city of Trapani, the Island of Mozia (Mothia) and Marsala cellars, and why not the wonderful Egadi Islands, enchanting Levanzo, Favignana and Marettimo.

A holiday in San Vito Lo Capo, between beaches, sea and water sports, art, history and culture, gastronomy and relaxation ... come and live it....we are waiting for you!

Great place to stay!
Lovely property, the outside area and pool are fabulous. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Cinzia was super helpful with restaurant recommendations and helped us book a really good boat trip. Couple of good local pizzerias within 15-20 minutes walk, as well as a bar and an excellent bakery. We had a great week!

TERRIBLE - Do not stay here
We had a dreadful experience at this property. Arrived to find the place not thoroughly clean and one of the bedrooms up a very steep set of wooden steps on top of the kitchen - there was no railing along the top so it was not safe. The house is also tiny and way smaller than it looks in the pictures; and you have to go across a yard to reach the swimming pool, which feels quite disconnected from the property. On the first night, there were high winds and the electricity went. The plug sockets started omitting burning smells (the wiring was clearly old and not safe), so we had to plug out all appliances in the dark to prevent a fire. Next, the water went. The next day, we had no electricity, no water and no air conditioning. We asked to move on given the circumstances but the owner refused to give us a refund for remaining nights. She spent the next two days shouting and roaring - coming into the apartment telling us "you don't own this, you have just rented it, so I can come and go as I please". [I have a video to show anyone interested - truly insane and would probably go viral!] She insisted on being paid in cash when we made the booking - do not stay here, but if you do - DO NOT PAY ANY BALANCE IN CASH as you will have zero protection from VRBO. Various issues kept arising after the electricity, water and air con going - e.g., a broken fridge, broken fan, broken lights. Needs a serious refurb and the owners are horrible - they only about making as much money as possible and couldn't care less about guest experience.

Lovely quiet place in the sun
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at this villa, thanks to the warm welcome of the owner, semi-rural location near a wonderful beach and delightful pool area, which our children especially enjoyed. The house is clean and has everything you could need. Cinzia, the owner, also helped to book tables at nearby restaurants, the one 5 minutes walk away is especially good, and recommended several places we could visit. The early morning visits by the local baker were also much appreciated. There is nothing quite like fresh croissants and warm, crusty bread every day. Would recommend a trip to Erice (we went twice - 2nd time just for the food) and Segesta, which are both not too far away. San Vito Lo Capo has a great beach and is only 15 minutes drive away, with parking costing only 5 Euros for the entire day. There are towels, umbrellas etc. in the house you can use so you don't need to rent anything at the beach (and you can save some weight allowance for duty free on the way back). All-in-all a great time and we would thoroughly recommend it for a lazy, relaxing stay.

Fantastic house in beautiful location
Great location only a short drive from San Vito Lo Capo. The pool area was fantastic and the the house clean. The owner was really helpful and talked us in after we got a little lost finding the property and went out of her way to find out information for us about a local vineyard tour and allowed us a late check out. We had a super meal at a restaurant that was a 5 minute walk away. Only thing that would have made it absolutely perfect was a kettle in the kitchen for making tea!!

Spectacular Sicilian setting
The beautiful garden and fantastic pool were the highlights of this typically Sicilian property. Although a car is necessary to best enjoy the spectacular rural location - dominated by craggy hills with a clear view of the nearby sea - bustling San Vito Lo Capo is just 10 minutes drive away with fascinating western Sicilian sites like Segesta and Erice within easy reach. Cinzia the property owner was super friendly and easy to deal with and even saved the day when we got a nail in our tire. Thank you!

Relaxing stay in charming villa
We had a wonderful week in Cinzia's property. The garden is magnificent, the views to die for. Our three daughters spent a lot of the week in the lovely swimming pool. The property has everything you would wish for - enough space for a family of 5, free wi-fi through-out the property and garden, modern clean appliances, a lovely outdoor eating area. We loved that the local baker called to the house every morning with fresh pastries too!! San Vito lo Capo is a gorgeous town and less than 10 minutes away by car - but what a drive it is too, such incredible scenery! We hope to return next year.

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting
Upon arriving at the house at around 9pm, we were really late for checking in due to travel delays. The owners were super nice and not only gave us real time directions but greeted us with pizzas, delicious watermelon, cold beer and juice for the kids. The house is nestled between olive and almond trees away from any street noise, no cars or loud scooters going by, no street vendors and no light pollution, the night skies are truly remarkable especially from the little terrace by the pool. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is also a small stove outside by the bbq area. The air conditioning and laundry room were a plus and we took full advantage of it. Everything you need is nearby, the bakery, the local bar, the pharmacy, the post office and gas station and small grocery shop. We also had the Baker store delivering us fresh out of the oven breads and pastries every morning at 7:45am. All of the main attractions are nearby, the famous beach of San Vito lo Capo, Macari, the beautiful Riserva dello Zingaro, Erice mountain. Me, my wife and our two kids really enjoyed our staying at the Perla Bianca in Castelluzzo. Thank you Cinzia and Giovanni.

Wonderful stay!
We were 7 girls from France, we have spent one week in the house and we have nothing to complain about: the location of the house is beautiful, surrounded by the mountains and the sea, the garden and the pool are very nice and the house is a bit small but cosy. Everything was clean and as described. There are some nice place to visit nearby (like San Vito Lo Capo or the beautiful natural reserve of Zingaro) Cinzia is a very nice guest, easy to contact and quick to respond. We recommand this location if you want to spend a nice time in Sicilia.

Calm and quiet
We had a lovely week in the house. It was very relaxing and calm. The pool is in locked garden which was perfect for us since we have a 15 month old girl. This way we could let her run freely in and out of the house without worrying about it. For those without small children the gate can be kept open. The surroundings are beautiful and its easy to get around all sights by car. Cinzia and her family are very helpful and easy to communicate with. If you are sensitive to mosquito bites you should bring repellent, otherwise all you might need will be found in the house.
