"Sunset Escape is truly a hidden gem on Westlake. If you're looking for a quiet, cozy, and elegant spot to unwind in Prince Edward County, this is the ideal place. Julie and Al are incredibly kind and attentive hosts who made us feel completely at home. The property is simply wonderful: it features excellent amenities, including a spacious upper suite with both a fan and air conditioning, a high-quality king-size bed that ensures a restful sleep, a private balcony with two Muskoka chairs, and a stunning view of the lake, perfect for enjoying the incredible sunsets. The suite also has a well-appointed bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, a high-tech toilet, dual sinks, and a hair dryer. Breakfast was really nice, including multiple options of delicious food, coffee, tea and juice. The house is well-equipped with multiple fire pits, two kayaks, life jackets, a cozy gazebo, and a barbecue area. Julie and Al also provided a seasonal pass to the provincial park, which was very convenient for beach visits. They also shared fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and wineries. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!"
