My stay was okay. Staff was friendly. The rooms were decent for the price. The hotel doesnt have elevators, so be prepared to walk up stairs if your room is not on the first level.

Good morning staff the following morning was wonderful. Otherwise I would give this a higher rating. However, the night shift staff had an attitude and had no problem showing it. There were kids running around all over the place. It was not very clean. I was just quite disappointed.

Our room smelled horrible. We bought our own air freshener and emptyed an entire bottle and it still didn’t help. It was a mixture of mold, body odor and wet dog.

The bed linens smelled of sweaty body odor. The pillows smelled as well. We had to buy deodorizing spray and sanitizer for the beds! The floors needed mopping and they need better bed covering. Very discolored towels and the blankets felt like sand-papers again our skin! I’d rather sleep outdoor- I would not return there not recommend it to anyone!!

Overpriced, rundown, horrid location
The room I booked said King, charged a king price, but it was a queen sized mattress with off center king sized bed. Sheets seemed clean but had stains that looked like bedbugs. It smelled like the ghosts of a thousand cigarettes. The floor tiles were uneven and scraped my foot so I had to wear shoes in there at all times. The bathroom had mold stains and the wall of the shower looked like it had been knocked out and badly patched. The toilet shook on the foundations every time I sat on it- and I am a small person- I only weigh about 135lbs. The property is between train tracks and a creepy chemical ie power plant of some sort. The staff was friendly and courteous and clearly doing the best they can with what they are given, but whoever manages this property needs to do better.

We had a very nice size room. 3 double size beds but one could use new mattress. The bathroom had 2 showers and the best water pressure for the shower heads. Staff kind and considerate. Continental breakfast was good. Coffee readily available

Stayed here after visiting Cedar Point. Was very disappointed at how dirty the hotel room was. Dead crickets on the floor, the refrigerator and microwave were only clean on the inside. The outsides were filthy with fingerprints and who knows what else. The front of the cabinets and the tall mirror in the room were also not wiped down. The chairs in the room had crumbs and a clump of red hair on them. I was suprised at the expedia reviews because they were pretty decent. However after arriving, i checked the google reviews and it made sense. A lot of complaints about the cleanliness. Will not be staying here again and i do not recommend staying here if you like a clean room

We overlooked the unfriendly staff, the rusty lamp, the broken exhaust fan, the dirty floor, and the disappointing breakfast but the final straw was not being able to use the hot tub. We just bought season passes to Cedar Point so we were hoping to be able to find a place where we could come back repeatedly. This was not it! The location was great, not too far from the amusement park with close stores and restaurants. There are many other hotel options in the area and for our next trip we will choose to stay elsewhere. We were awaken in the middle of the night by the fire alarm. Which we came to find out was due to someone trying to smoke in their room. Our key card would not work after a long day at the park. When we went to the front desk the card was fixed but no apology given, there was barely talk of any kind. We originally thought she was just an unhappy employee but come to find out she was actually the manager. When checking out we brought up these issues but she again only gave excuses. Never an apology. Point blank said that the only way the owner would hear about our experience was to leave a review. Very sad that she could care less how our stay went.

bottom sheets had boogers and I had to clean the hot tub in our room myself because of the amount of grub and hair in the tub. The floors also had a large amount of dirt in them and the room had a mildew smell. Other than the little but big things that we had came across, it was a great stay. Great customer service at front desk!

The staff were very nice and room was clean. The people above us were loud early and late at night. The breakfast pastries and biscuits were very dry. The grass was too tall at the side of the building for my small dog to to potty. They did cut it on the day we were leaving (Friday)

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. The receptionist, Britney made a great first impression of the hotel and was the most friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to help our stay be remarkable. The room was comfortable and immaculate and perfect for our family of four. Complimentary breakfast was great, just what we needed to begin our day in the amusement park. The location was also perfect. Less than 10 min from Kalahari and 20 min from Cedar point. I was very pleased with our stay. Overall it was a great experience and thanks to Britney we will look forward to returning next year. …highly recommend👍
