The bed had some kinda crusty material on the blankets. Rooms are very outdated. The bathrooms are yellow and my boyfriend said it smelled like smoke. I didnt feel comfortable staying in that room I dont care if I'm out $200 this place wasn't worth it. However the guy at the front desk was so nice and apologized and was super busy trying to run things by himself.He was the only good thing about that place.
The bathtub in our room was extremely dangerous. Management disregarded my concern and insisted that the tub was designed this way. The front desk staff was unavailable when we checked out.
The bottom was squishy, but not like a floor mat. The middle 8 inches or so of the tub would sink/squish down a good inch or so as I showered.
When I put a foot toward the edge of the normal bottom of the tub, it didn't feel right either. The slope against the sides was about 45 degrees, and super slippery.
The bottom of the tub is clearly about to fail. I felt very unsafe when I showered. The tub needs to be replaced before they rent that room out again. This is dangerous. I don't want to see anyone have a serious fall or other injury from it.
The front desk guy was nice. The room was clean.
Checked in late and tired and the front desk staff didn’t seem too welcoming. The room door was propped open. They gave me a room that I found out from morning staff that they had maintenance fix the toilet the day before that wasn’t fixed - it was clogged. There were no towels or toiletries and beds weren’t neat. The shower had black gunk around the handrail base and property is worn and in need of renovation. Carpet out in the hall looked dirty and gross - not the clean review I read about - I regretted driving 30 minutes from Cedar Point and would have gladly paid more for a place that was at least closer for this quality. I peaked at pool and the floor looked either dirty or stained. The morning front desk staff seemed more friendly and accommodating. Hardly anything around. I don’t recommend this property unless absolutely necessary.
Not many hotels allow pets and i was surprised with how well everything was taken care of with pets and how clean everything was and the staffing we delt with were always friendly and helpful
