Great location to the Main Train Station. Clean sheets. Old, but clean bath towels. Great water pressure and quick heating in a small shower stall. Good WiFi. Nice air conditioning. Friendly front desk. Complimentary ticket for local public transportation. Nice place to sit have a beverage and people watch.

Excellent and convenient location which was just what we needed after a late arrival, travelling on to Bern early the next morning. We were given a wonderful room with balcony, seating area and large bathroom and would have been happy to stay on for longer than just the overnight.

Old World Hotel at Basel Train station
Very nice hotel at Basel Central Train Station. The front desk staff was excellent and helped me several times. The breakfast buffet was lovely, and included champagne and omelets and eggs to order. Needed to ask 2-3 times for Housekeeping to replenish soap and body moisturizer.

The staff were excellent and tended to our needs speedily. The mattress was on the firm side and the pillows were thin. We asked for more and we had more provided Check in was speedy and we were pleased to be able to extend our check out. Communication before our arrival was also excellent informative and helpful. The location could not have been better right by The tram intersection and the Basel SBB - lots of excellent cafes around here for coffee / cake/ croissants.

Older hotel that still has some charm
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Euler. The location is a bit outside of town near the train station, but there were trams right outside the hotel which took us downtown to the Christmas markets. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel since it wasn't free, so we went to the Starbucks next door. The hotel looks like an old elegant hotel and although it shows it's age, they had some nice touches such as a piano player in the evening.

Perfect Location! Right next to the train station and perfect for hopping on the tram into the main town. Room was a good size and the bathroom was very nice. The heating in the room was a struggle but we made it work. We couldn’t seem to work out how to use it but wasn’t too much of an issue, we’d open the window for a bit and the room would cool down. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

駅に近くて便利。トラム乗り場の目の前のため夜遅くまで音が聞こえる。気になる人は気になるかも。 部屋はとてもキレイにはされているが、少し古いようで洗面所の鏡の上についているライトが壊れていた。フロントに言うとすぐに対応してくれて、部屋を変えてくれて有り難かった。ただ、変わった部屋は歩くと床が軋んで少し気になった、

Good location across from the train station and all the local transportation. Plenty of dining options. Several amenities in the room did not work, such as the refrigerator and the hair dryer. The hotel was full so there were no replacements to be had. They did give us free breakfast as compensation.

Old world charm, great for rail travellers
Lovely hotel with old world charm. Spacious room with contemporary bathroom , clean & comfortable. Fantastic location for those arriving by train right next to rail/ tram network & despite this the room was quiet. Large lobby with piano, bar & outside terrace. Would absolutely love to stay again.
