I booked the Garden Inn for my parents for a one-night stay while they visited me in Goleta, and they were very satisfied with the experience. The facility felt brand new, the room was spacious and spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Although there is a railroad behind the hotel, I was initially concerned about train noise, but there was no train traffic during their stay. I will definitely book this place again.

Front desk staff extremely friendly and courteous, wife and I really enjoyed our stay the rooms are very clean,the Bed was very comfortable and the pool is heated , I took advantage of that !! I stay here a lot to visit my son at UCSB. Clean and comfortable. However today we had breakfast at the hotel and on my final bill they doubled the tip I left. I left 18 percent and they doubled it, very dishonest. Trying to remedy it with Hilton.

Comfortable but needs regular maintenance
This is a relatively new hotel. When we lived in Santa Barbara, we watched it being built. Most of the room was pretty well maintained and relatively clean. However, some parts of the room started to show inconvenient wear and tear. The barn door to the bathroom doesn't close all the way because of a loose bolt on the rod. This was extremely frustrating because we had a young baby and needed to be very quiet while he slept. We weren't able to take a shower or flush the toilet while he slept because of the bathroom door. Positives: - The beds were comfortable - Generally friendly staff - Well-kept lobby area
