They were very rude to us and gave us a room that was facing a public bathroom not full ocean view that we booked. TV was not working, hot water was not working (I have pictures and videos of everything) We called and reported that the room smells very bad and there is mold we stated that my mom has allergies and can't breathe but ghey said since I booked from expedia I will not get the best room

Access to the beach and Pier were great. Little things like a coffee maker would have made the stay better. That is a big deal for us. Didn’t seem to offer the things that other places did so it was a more obvious

We loved our stay here. The pool area was great for kids and the surrounding pool area was a lovely spot to sit and watch with an outdoor fire. The rooms were spacious and the staff were lovely. Having access to the free laundry was a nice surprise. I really wish we had more days here

Perfect location
The staff went above and beyond to help us when we got to town early and needed a place to put our bags before check-in. They called us as soon as our room was ready (early!). Amazing location to view the public beach and wharf. Very walkable and amazing (new) shower. Pool was warm, and the whole hotel has a great retro feel. The only thing to consider is they don’t seem to have an elevator and there are several outdoor steps to reach your room. May be difficult for some guests. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely go back!!

Ultimate Beach Experience
Amazing location, boutiquie hotel with super nice staff, and clean rooms. We only stayed one night, which was not enough time to enjoy the property and the balcony and the beach and the boardwalk and all that Santa Cruz has to offer. Our room had a little kitchen area, too. My only complaint was that our conditioner dispenser in the shower was out. I would have just asked to have it refilled, but I was already in the shower washing my hair. All in all an awesome property, excellent staff, and everything needed for an ultimate beach experience. Thank YOU, Beach Street Inn!!!
