Front desk staff was terrible. When you check in there is absolutely no information given regarding what is available to you, breakfast, the restaurant/bar, etc. I had to ask for directions to the elevator. They were so terrible, i was 1 of 3 parties wondering aimlessly looking for the elevator with someone who is handicapped. I guess we all got the same amazing directions.

Nice Property rooms needs some TLC
Visiting Santa Cruz for a quick weekend. Our room needed a little tlc. The walls, ceiling and curtains needed some attention; repaint, clean and replace the ripped curtain. Beds were comfortable. Refillable water stations on each floor was great to have. There were a few events during our stay which made the bar/restaurant area busy and loud. The property of the hotel was very nice in design.

People were partying half the night in the rooms below us and our family did not get much sleep. Took away from the overall experience. A lot of crime around us and we overall did not feel safe in some areas around the motel. The motel itself definitely was an older motel that was renovated to look trendy but was definitely missing something. Disappointing for the price paid.

Too much laundry noise
My room was next door to the in-house laundry machines. The washing machine ran nonstop until 11:00 PM. The room wasn’t that clean. Hair in the bathroom and trash on the floor in the bathroom. The room was also very run down. Lots of wear and tear. The wallpaper in the bathroom was actually stapled together.
