Our room was much nicer than expected. Staff was very helpful in recommending where to eat and how to get there. Parking was always available. They even provided ear plugs for street noise but we didn't need them and slept peacefully.

It was close to the Boardwalk and Wharf, also to the event we attended. The room had a musty small.

The property was clean , room clean , cheap on the coffee , 1 coffee pod ,the owner or the manager said to me when arrived early that I could park on property until room is ready . Which was great . The board walk is a 5 min walk away . I went back to see if the room was ready as the owner ,manager stated he would let me in the room early as soon as it was ready . So I went back 2 hrs before check in , room was ready although the manager , owner wanted 30.00 for early arrival . He never told me that or I would not have wasted time . I understand though. It’s all about money . What he doesn’t realize it’s about repeat business. Also a huge homeless encampment in front of the motel . The price is right , decent stay . Clean inside the room . Location is good . Stay there again unless he reads my honest review and doesn’t let me stay there lol

This hotel has the best parking space per car in a town where people drive cars the size of golf carts.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. My husband and I tossed and turned all night. Also the room walls are so thin, you can hear your neighbors t.v. That was very annoying!

This was not a good stay and I have stayed at this property before. The parking was directly across from an encampment and a very busy street and not directly in front of the street side room. Aside from the noise, we were moving our daughter into school and had to unload the entire carload for safety. The management would not allow us to park on inner lot and refused to help us in any way. Initially booked for two nights, we stayed the one night and checked out. I will not stay here again. The management was rude and unhelpful.

for the price and location this was perfect for a night in santa cruz. walkable to the boardwalk/dowbtown. the room was really just to sleep in and were in it for maybe 3 hours total so perfect for the situation. clean, chill.

Pleasant Place for the Right People
The hotel is very misleading with the information provided as they only provided half the information regarding check in. While it is understandable this place may not be 24/7 check-in, however they failed to mention about afterhours check-in which would have been greatly appreciated as then I wouldn't have to rush to check in at this place. I am not not sure why this place would only offer half the information and not just provide the full information so the guest can plan accordingly. Also the room I had was facing the main street and it was definitely loud. Looking back, while I did read the reviews on the noise, it is usually a hit or miss when it comes to this and unfortunately the reviews on the noise is true. It is quite loud for the area. I would definitely choose a different location if I was to ever come back to this area. The rooms while interior has been renovated, the overall color choice is dark making the place feel even darker. The lighting though is quite bright to my surprise. Water pressure for shower is not there, so it takes a while to wash and didn't really enjoy it. For some this place can be a good spot as it is nearby a lot of places such as the wharf and park, unfortunately this will not be a place I will be returning to after my experience. I will try out other places in the future.
