The property was not in the best shape. The elevators were inoperable, the cleaning staff were noisy, the walls were paper-thin (you could hear all the adjacent rooms) and the entrance to the property requires pulling a U-turn off the main roadway to get there. We didn't eat there or use the pool -- which you could smell throughout the building. We won't be using this property again.

Chose this hotel due to an “excellent “ rating. Don’t know how they achieved that. Upon arrival we were greeted with no enthusiasm or friendliness at all. When we got to the room the TV did not work. When asked front desk about it he seemed annoyed and came to look at it. Took 30 minutes or so but he fixed it. However the entire time we tried to make conversation with him and were ignored. Definitely will NOT be staying here again

Hotel was clean but room was smaller than usual. The TV didn't work quite right. Website advertised hot tub. Hot tub jets don't work but staff gave 3 different reasons. I was told it didn't have jets (obviously did). Another told because the switch kept getting broken it was put on a timer never came on). And another was told they were always on but not strong (not much at all). Very disappointing, especially being lied to by staff.

After 10 minutes of us being in our room, the door was unlocked and opened by one of the maintenance staff to retrieve a fan from the room. The next morning at checkout I notified the front desk and the GENERAL MANAGER who were on shift at approx. 8 AM on Friday, Sept 13. Their only response was that the maintenance personnel should have knocked and they only provided a light apology. I let them know how unsafe and dangerous that event was and they showed little to no concern. DO NOT STAY at this property if you value your privacy or safety. As a woman I felt extremely unsafe and was grateful my husband was in the room at the time. If you are a single female or traveling with children, STAY AWAY!

Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good, lots of choices. Coffee/tea/hot cocoa station in lobby was great. Room was kinda small. We had a sofa bed but only pulled out to a twin size. Bathroom was small with not much sink area. Beds were comfy.

The neighborhood was not safe due to homeless in the area. They were very bold. While in the drive up lane at McDonald's watched a homeless woman attempt to get in the car behind us. Santa Fe very sad used to be very clean and safe. No longer.!. Sad for the hotel should have security in the parking lot and on the premises especially at night.

It was ok for a one night it's also an affordable place around Santa Fe that is family friendly. However, I think the rooms look run down and I have a toddler and he was exploring the room and found a used silicone ear plug so that was gross. It was in a small corner in the room so definitely a place that is probably not cleaned as often but I'd like to think all rooms are well cleaned after every use. I think this def showed us that was not the case. Not sure if we'll be staying here again.
