Bottom tier motel (no offense), but as far as they go this is about as solid as they come, friendly staff, good service, clean room, great price. Feels weird to give it 5 stars since it’s a 100 dollar hotel, but you get what you pay for with no problems.

Diamond in the rough
Was passing through Santa Rosa with my husband on a road trip to Las Vegas. We stayed at the Redwood Inn for one night. Was a pleasant surprise with how friendly the checkin was and how clean our room was. Even thou we were near the main road it was very quiet. It was walking distance to Costco and many other places and even a Wendy's next door. Thanks for a nice stop over with such a great welcome.

Exactlty what i expected. Pretty sparse and maybe in need of a refresh but for the cost it is much better than other similiar priced places ive stayed. Little noisy being right off the main street bit i knew/expected that...so. noting excited to report. Budget hotel, but couldnt complain. Pluses. Larger fridge than most. Had some frnaola bars ans water bottles out. Most budget places dont do that.

Being a 10 minute drive to the airport & immediately north of Costco Gas makes this a conveniently located motel. Room was very clean.

The only good thing was the price. There was an odd smell in the room. There was water damage and broken tile in the bathroom. The fridge and microwave were at least 30 years old, as was everything but the TV, which had a sticky remote. The guy up front was nice, but the man that looked like a vagrant by the front door was off-putting. I regretted the decision to book at this place as soon as I walked into my room.

It was very clean but dated. Things that bothered me the bed was not made properly. The cover was just thrown over the pillows. The shower was hard to work and leaked water all over floor. The people are very nice. Not worth the funds for us.
