The hotel was very good, we enjoyed our stay. We especially liked how close it was to the ocean. It‘s worth renting a sunbed there because it is much less crowded on the beach than around the pool area. The main restaurant is okay, we only ate there in the morning. You usually have to wait in line to get a table and the food is average. In the evening we always walked to one of the many great restaurants nearby. We will most probably come back to Hotel Tahiti Playa another year.

Beautiful Hotel, Great Location
We stayed in this hotel for a short family break (4nts) - 2 adults and 1 toddler. The hotel itself was beautiful with a large pool area, situated right on the beach front and in an ideal location for walking to shops and restaurants. The room was lovely with 2 double beds and very clean when we arrived. The aircon wasn't extremely powerful but fine for the weather in June - may not be great for the hotter months. We had a partial sea view room which was located on the outter left of the property so you could see the sea to the right of the balcony. Unfortunately the balconies on this side of the hotel are all slightly slanted down, possibly for drainage purposes, but it made it very unsafe with little ones so we only used it to dry swimsuits. We stayed half board and the food in the restaurant was great. A great variety of food for breakfast and dinner so that everyone is catered for. My wife is a fussy eater and even she really enjoyed the food. The restaurant can get busy so we tried to go right at the beginning of the sessions or right at the end. There's a little park just outside the restaurant area that is perfect for kids, and also 2 slides to the side of the pool area. They have a children's pool which is great for little ones. We did go in the pool a couple of times and although it seemed to be slightly heated, it was still very cold, especially for our toddler. The staff we encountered during our stay were all very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Really nice hotel right on the beach, good food and welcoming staff, good wifi and entertainment for kids. Rooms large with comfy beds. Give Santa Susanna centre a miss, nothing there ..better to go into Pineda or Malgrat. Recommended!

Hotel is not 4* as advertised. The rooms are quite outdated, luckily no issues with the cleanliness. The front desk staff isn't very friendly, at all. Especially the Polish employee, with short hair, always in a pony tail. Will spare you the details of her rudeness in answering questions we had during our stay. Must pay to use the beach chair (5 Euro each) and umbrellas (6 Euro) a day, no discount for weekly stay. The worst was perhaps the food - bland, tasteless, without much variety. Most dishes did not have labels, therefore it was difficult to know what the food was. Good luck if you are a vegetarian, like me, you will be getting potatoes, peas, and beans for dinner and a salad bar. I do not recommend this hotel and would not return.

Lovely beach holiday
We had a lovely beach holiday, restaurants and bars nearby and we did a daytrip to Barcelona and a boat trip up the coast. Not a great deal else to do in terms of sightseeing though. This a man-made resort with high rise hotels along the beach. However this is a big hotel which is very busy, and this causes aggravation at breakfast and with sunbeds, some guests are quite rude. I would probably choose a smaller resort and more intimate hotel next time, and will try and get self-catering to avoid the morning scrum.

Hotel Tahiti Playa - 21 Oct - 28 Ocy 2015
We stayed at the Hotel Tahiti Playa the last week of their season. Despite the timing the hotel was spotlessly clean. On our arrival we were met by Marta on reception who went out of her way to ensure that our stay would be perfect. The room allocated (number 303) had a full sea view with a balcony that had the sun from first thing in the morning until late afternoon. We had a walk in shower that had a magnificent power shower system. The beds provided were two large single beds which were very comfortable, but the hotel could certainly learn a lot from Premier Inns with regard to the pillows as those provided were very uncomfortable. The restaurant staff were very friendly particularly the lady receptionist who spoke several languages. The food was very varied and enjoyable. Only the provison of heated plates could have improved the service. Regrettably the same could not be said for the bar staff particularly the head barman who made no effort to make conversation. A happy hour (two drinks for the price of one) took place each day between 16.30 & 17.30 hours however the only drinks available were beer or soft drinks. Ladies drinking wine or spirits were not catered for on the two for one. The main clientel appeared to be French with a small sprinkling of German, Dutch and British. We enjoyed our week in the Tahiti Playa and would probably return there in the future.

We booked half bored but the food was terrible it is set up as buffet style they show you to your table then you queue up to collect your food. There is plenty of food it just doesnt taste nice. Avoid this hotel
This hotel was a major disappointment. The room description that says "sea view" has actually nothing to do with the sea. When we addressed this issue with the hotel staff, they literally and bluntly played dumb, and told us that we have a "sea view" room and acted surprised as to how we don't see the sea - photos attached The first day the room wasn't cleaned at all, at around 2pm we put a sign out that said: "please clean the room" and when we came back at 11pm it still wasn't cleaned. It took us having a discussion with the manager to get the room cleaned. Internet: it says you can purchase internet online - which I did, and the system informed me that they sent an e-mail with log-in information to my account, yet I couldn't check the e-mail since I wasn't connected to internet...and when I addressed it to the staff in the lobby, instead of helping right away, they tried to argue with me saying "that I should be able to check my e-mail" it took me multiple trips back and forth and after I brought my computer downstairs - they printed the receipt with my login info. ALSO, please note that internet can be used on one device ONLY, if someone else wants to use internet at the same time, they need to purchase a separate access!! Mini bar - the fridge is empty and won't work unless you pay for a mini bar package Safe locker: you need to pay per day Included breakfast, they give you a card at the check-in but never inform you that you need to take it with you to be able to eat

Not bad but was expecting more
The location of the hotel is perfect : right on the beach and close to the train station where you can get a train to Barcelona. The hotel itself was lovely, we chose a superior vip room so that we got room the sea view. I'd say that's the only good thing about this hotel. The cleaners are VERY slow, ridiculously slow. Sometimes we would go back to our room at 2-3 pm and it would still not be cleaned . Restaurant's food was plain and not much to choose from so we opted for restaurants outside of the hotel most of the time instead. Rooms are quite small. We were lucky that mini fridge and safe come free with the vip room as others had to pay at least €7 to just be able to keep their mini fridge on and €16 for a week of using the safe. Another unpleasant moment was that the entertainment that was on until midnight and if you wanted to get an early night I'd be hard to fall asleep with all noise, two nights there was very loud music right on the beach when we were very tired and just wanted to sleep. Overall, the hotel is ok but wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there .
