Great location
Lovely hotel in great location. Front desk staff very good, helpful and friendly. Breakfast staff let the hotel down, lots of them who prefer to congregate and chat rather than clear tables and serve coffee. Also found the same with the between bar, if there was a few of them they just stood around talk, whilst you waved at them for their attention or to place an order. Was ok the day we went early and only one member of staff, she was much better as she had no one to talk to.

Very comfortable
Great blackouts, quiet room, amazing matress, pillows and linen. Liked the complimentary bottles of water in the rooms and the numerous toiletteries. Breakfast is also very good and with a great variety.

Staff is not helpful when you left something behind. I’ve booked a room from 7/22/22 - 7/26/24. I’ve checked out on 7/26/24 and leaved behind in room an Apple Airtag. GPS shows that it is at Doubletree by Hilton Santiago - Vitacura. I’ve called them and they said they would check it out and let me know by email. So far up today 8/9/24 still no news from them and GPS slows my Apple Airtag still in their Hotel. Very frustrated.

Clean room, fair location, excellent cleaning and a decent breakfast. However, much of the staff had a very unhelpful attitude towards solving issues. Perhaps this is a cultural difference but the time it took for anyone to attend to any issues and for room service to deliver items was ridiculously long. This wouldn’t have been an issue had they said upfront that it will take two hours for ice or almost three hours for someone to come and look at a leaky toilet, but the staff would always say on the phone “yes of course right away”. This was very unhelpful and frustrating. However, I do want to give a special shout-out to a male staff member (whose name I unfortunately cannot remember but perhaps he was the manager on duty for that shift?) working the evening shift (until 10pm) Thursday July 18 who was very helpful and did his utmost to ensure that I had a semi-enjoyable end of the stay despite the toilet breaking and me needing to change a room for the last night. There was also a younger gentleman working at the door on morning of the 19th of July who was very helpful and kind. These two were the best people in terms of customer service at the hotel. Overall, decent hotel, much better value for money than some others in the area but there are many members of staff whose attitude leaves much to be desired.
