Not completely an apart-hotel and loud area
The hotel was certainly cheap But it was advertised as an “apart-hotel”, which usually means it has some sort of kitchen facility but this one was a regular double room with only a minibar. The hotel is very dated and the local area is really loud as it is surrounded by bars open late and with very loud music playing until 1-2 AM. If you are in santiago in business this is definitely not for you. Other guests were very loud as well and we couldn’t sleep well any of the three nights we spent there. The rate was very low and non-refundable so we paid the price for that

Fantastic location and space, if a bit beatdown
You can´t really fault this hotel's location, or the neighborhood. The apartment itself is great, very spacious and comfortable. I did have a bit of trouble with the hot water not lasting, and the corridors are a bit run-down, but overall it is a fantastic deal for all it offers.
