PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I had a terrible experience with this property. I am very frequent traveler and sometime even the most expert can also get into traps. The room did not look at all similar to what's shown in the pictures. As Oct 15, 2024, that property was under construction/renovations and, you can clearly see that they are not caring for customers about noise and quality of sleep. My room had a view to the neighbor building alley and the window was as dirty as you cannot even imagine. Bed sheets look dirty, room looked very old and some stains on the walls. The bathroom was the only thing decent. The matress is very thin, please prepare for that. As I did not check in at 3am, I did not complained for my 2 nights stay. The day after in the morning I requested a check out and the refund for the remaining night. I was denied the refund even though the complains above for which I have pictures. Expedia Customer Service has been trying to work this out but to the day of this review Oct 21, 2024 I have not received any update. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

The clerk try to charge me 20usd for early check in. I arrived at the hotel at 2:20pm check in was at 3:00pm. Nevertheless they asked me for a 100usd deposit and still have not received the refund. Breakfast was pretty basic

Good experience
It a very good experience, I took the chance with the hotel, despite of the bad reviews, but it is in a good location, the city of Santo Domingo has heavy traffic all day and night, but the was unpersectible in my room. Breakfast was basic, but gives you the opportunity to try Dominican breakfast style.
