The property looks like it used to be really beautiful about 30 years ago, but now it’s run by people that are irresponsible and don’t tend to the property and I’m pretty sure there’s only one maid that cleans the rooms in the entire property. The staff wasn’t that pleasant the breakfast wasn’t that great in the room was filthy as if it was never cleaned from the beginning all of the fixtures on the faucets were rusty and falling apart. The piping under the sinks were rusted and falling apart. The beds were old and stained with some kind sponge.. I should have listened to the other reviews and just paid more to get a better nights sleep. The beds were small definitely not a two person bed. Also, it was more of a room for four than a room for five that we booked and paid for thank God we got in a good price on Expedia, but that hotel should renovate or get some proper owner also the ice machine next to our room didn’t work. The vending machine next to our room didn’t work The staff wouldn’t bring any towels or pillows or blankets to the room. We had five people staying in the room and had three towels. We had no extra blankets. We had only three face cloths. We didn’t have any complementary soap and last, but not least it smelled like mold to the point that we had to leave the back screen door open all night in the screen door is broke anyways

The property had a nice historic atmosphere but is showing it's age. Wall paper peeling, shower faucets leaking and the refrigerator needed an overdue defrosting. Ice machine did not work and you had to travel to the lobby for a small bag of ice. The staff was efficient, very friendly and they answered your needs. Comfortable beds and the room was quiet even though fully booked. No handicapped parking spots by the building we stayed in and no curb ramps for wheel chair access. Super location.

We had a beautiful room that shows its age, but was clean and practical. The property is aging and some of the vinyl siding needs pressure washing. It is getting nasty looking.However, the staff was pleasant and it was a quiet stay. The pool was cold, but clean. Hot tub and Sauna worked well.With some upgrades, the property would be absolutely awesome.

Wonderful place to stay
The Roosevelt inn is an amazing and comfortable place to stay. Close to all, with a quiet in the main part environment. Our room had a separation from the bedroom quarters which is very nice. I would love to have a living area with a sofa, tv and place to make a snack which this inn offers. The bedroom is separated from the gathering room: for 2 guests. It is very comfortable, and accommodating. We will always come here when we plan to visit.

I think at one point this was a really nice place. Now it seems run down most likely because it’s for sale. The pictures and online description aren’t accurate due to conditions. The outdoor pool and tennis court not useable. My jacuzzi tub didn’t work. In some places wallpaper peeling. I loved the decor just needs a little updating. My room was very spacious. It is in a good location very easy to get to SPAC. I think with a new owner it could be an amazing place. Would hate it if it lost the antique charm for decor. Part of the draw was the feeling of old fashioned. Loved that it wasn’t modern looking. Just needs some upgrades and I would give it a higher review.
