Perfect Location, Excellent Property & Nice Added Touches
We stayed over Thanksgiving 2024. We enjoy being on the water and this place was perfect. Great views from almost every room. The unit was very clean & comfortable and included everything we needed. There was a decorated Christmas tree and decorations which was a very nice "homey" touch given we were away over the Holiday. I highly recommend this place.

I could not possibly say enough about this property! It is exactly what is pictured and more! The place was spotless and well stocked with the essentials! The most perfect location for local shopping and dining. Everything is within walking distance. Host was very responsive and checkin was simple! Wonderful place with beautiful views!
We had a fabulous stay! The penthouse was lovely, spacious, well appointed and very clean. We enjoyed the deck very much and loved watching the boats come and go. We ate many meals at the dining table on the incredibly spacious deck and also relaxed on the lounge chairs and sectional. The location was so convenient! Walking distance to shops and restaurant and a short drive to the beach.

Beautiful property and fantastic location
The property was lovely and worked perfectly for our group. I do have a couple of suggestions though - (i) more mirrors (we had all girls and it was difficult to get ready), and (ii) I'd recommend noting that the boat is there and looks right into the property (although not a big deal, it was a surprise).

This is a wonderful place. The bedrooms are comfortable. The living/dining/kitchen area is huge. Even larger is the outdoor deck. I confess, it's a bit nicer when the Star of Saugatuck is away from the dock, but even when it's there isn't not a nuisance. I gave it the title I did because it was so relaxing sitting outside at dusk watching the yachts and sailboats go up and down the river. Location is prime. Parking is super covenient. The host is very quick to reply to any inquiries. If I had any criticism, I wish it had an outdoor grill, but that might be prohibitted by local laws. Othewise, the place has everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the penthouse.. the large deck made all the difference! (just be aware that Star of Saugatuck does actually dock at deck between trips, but did not bother us). The large kitchen overlooking living room and deck was great. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and updated (small wish that larger master bath was actually in master but we managed!) Wonderful to be right in town to easily walk to shops and restaurants. Found nice paths for biking and running nearby. Easy drive to Oval Beach for daytime fun and also to enjoy evening sunsets. Any questions we had during stay were promptly answered. Would definitely stay again!

Our trip to Saugatuk was wonderful. But the penthouse was spectacular. If u r lucky enough to stay, it will b one of the highlights of ur trip. The clean, well appointed penthouse was real luxury. The rooms were a generous size, the beds were cozy, and the big dining table was perfect. The huge deck overlooking the water was amazing. Would give this property my highest recommendation.

Huge, well-appointed property with relaxing view of the river. Immaculately clean with all necessities included. No need to pack things like coffee, TP, paper towels, soaps. Beds very comfortable, windows with screens to open and enjoy the breezes and river sounds. Within walking distance to downtown area with many excellent restaurants, breweries, fun shops and coffee roasters. Would definitely stay here again. Easy drive to Holland/Fennville area.

as a local, I spend a lot of time in Saugatuck, if you are visiting this is the place to stay. the location is perfect - these views are probably the best you get in town. You are close to town, you could take the chain ferry to Oval, you can walk across the street for a great traditional breakfast at Ida's - a great place to stay for a townie trip in Saugy!

This is a fabulous place!
it is a really beautiful and well managed property with a great location. Sitting on the front deck is fantastic and when you walk out the door, you're downtown with a great collection of shops and restaurants. Five minute walk to the ferry, cross the river and talk 10-15 minutes and you're at the Oval Beach. Or explore the dune or go to the top of Mt. Baldy. Very comfortable -- we'll plan to come back again

Review of riverfront property in Saugatuck
The property was clean, well maintained, and well-stocked. Amazing deck and location. Communication was excellent, and the property manager contacted us before we had left town because housekeeping had found my son's wallet that he had inadvertently left behind. The Star of Saugatuck loads and unloads a few times during the day, so the upper deck passengers do "infringe" on the privacy of the property for a total of perhaps a half hour per day. They are also on a very defined schedule, so this can be planned/avoided if guests are concerned about this. This is also referenced in the listing, so it should not be a surprise. We absolutely would stay here again. Great property, location, and property management.
