Sautee Nacoochee, a small town in Georgia, is the perfect place for romance. Seasonal activities, charming ambiance, and a secluded locale are only some of the benefits to recommend in the area.

The wooden walls and natural lighting usher you into an inviting living room with a flatscreen TV and DVD player. Watch a movie, return emails over the WiFi, or head out to the screened-in deck to luxuriate in the hot tub. Stay cool in the summer with the wall AC unit, which reverses to serve as the cabin's heating system in the winter.

If you're getting hungry, head to the fully equipped kitchen and prepare a meal. Enjoy it either outside in the fresh air or inside at the dining table, then slide the dishes into the dishwasher. If you caught any fresh fish, there's a grill outside on the deck.

Cutest cabin we’ve ever stayed in.
Very small, but for two people it was perfect. Outdoor hot tub was a good size, and worked well. WiFi worked well. Small kitchen with plenty of dishes. Great experience.

Well first parking is horrible if anything non-existent. The hot tub had a horrible film on the bottom so we were a little disappointed that we couldn't use that. But the jetted heart shaped tub made up for it. The dresser had a mildew smell so we couldn't use that but other than that it was quiet, romantic and the neighborhood grocery store/bar/restaurant was super friendly and adorable!!! They were a few kinks but we still give it 5 stars!!!

Less than advertised
To start with, we were told to bring firewood. There were even instructions in the cabin on making sure the flue was open, and how to deal with the soot. The fireplace was electric. Speaking of electric, you couldn't use the coffeemaker and toaster at the same time (on different outlets) without popping a breaker. The hot tub didn't get past warm. As a whole, the cabin felt like it had been built from a kit, by someone who wasn't all that good at it. Loved the Helen area. It will be a hard pass on Serenity cabin if we go back.

The stove would not work but one eye at a time. The grill was out of gas. The heat was not good enough to get warm. The bed had the smell of body odor. Besides that the cabin was well located and could be a good stay with some maintenance.

Very short lived
The property is on a hill. Did not like the parking its on a hill its hard to get in and out ur vehicle. We had to back our large Yukon down a step hill everyday no where to turn around. Property is pet friendly but no where to walk ur dogs to go to the bathroom except up the street on the side of the road. U had to build a fire or it was freezing in the cabin. The heat upstairs only heats the upstairs loft. Not downstairs. Overall would not recommend staying here.

Very clean! If your looking for somewhere out in the woods that super quiet this is it! Very comfortable we didn’t leave the property to much. As parents of four this was a wonderful get away very relaxing! Parking for vehicles to come past us was a little tight. And when they say it’s not a area for trucks and trailers they are not lying. It’s one small road for three cabins and a dead in we had to back into the cabin for easy pulling out.

Disappointing Getaway
Property was misrepresented in photos. Needs updated pics. Very strong smoke smell in cabin, which caused difficulty breathing. I imagine it was due to the burnt wood left in the fireplace. Needs a deep cleaning, found trash in various locations inside cabin. Tub upstairs needs replacing as the jets were rusty/corroded. Bed lumpy, sofa worn out ( could feel the wood inside the sofa). Downstairs bath needs updated. The kitchen was serviceable but just barely. The grill on the back porch was worn out and have a disposable grill tray in it so that it could be used. The hot tub did not get used due to all the other issues we decided that we would not be using it because we did not want to have any problems with our skin. Who knows if/when the chemicals had be added. Would never consider staying here again and would not recommend anyone else to stay here. We left 2 days early and have never so glad to leave a place before

Do not book this cabin
Cabin was fine but the porch view is obnoxious. The whole porch looks at a house, no trees left, no privacy. There was only one screen to use hot tub so they can look straight at the cabin from the house. For the amount of money it cost it's a loser for sure. We even asked if we could be moved but the cabins were all full. The cabin reeks of the fireplace as soon as you walk in. I am wholly disappointed with your company and especially with the dishonesty of the real truth of this cabin. If trees and privacy are what you're looking for don't stay here. The one person willing to help out is Lisa Moon at your Helen, GA location. I asked if we could hang some bed sheets to cover wide open view of the hot tub and she helped right away. Too bad she's not running the company.

Hot tub was inoperable and they refused to relocate us to another rental. The jacuzzi tub was nasty and before we completed checkin, they sent someone out to clean it. We paid a hefty price for an anniversary weekend that started off bad. We decided to make the most of it regardless. VACASA is the property management and all the gues services staff is overseas and could care less if the customer is happy. They make sure they get their money regardless if you get what you paid for!

The bathroom window has nothing covering it so others cannot see in. No heat on first level except 2 old fire hazardous electric heaters and the fire place that needs the soot cleaned from the chimney because smoke comes back into the cabin. The screened porch looks like it is never cleaned. Old food all over the grill and the porch floor looks like it hasn't been swept or vacuumed in months.

Our 25th anniversary trip
It was nice and clean. The parking was a little bit of a challenge, but we had a small car. The only problem we had was the stairs have no light over them. The first night we were there, my husband had gone to bed before me. I watched TV for a bit, then started up the stairs and noticed I didn't completely turn the tv off. I turned around half way up the stairs and started back down and missed the bottom step because I couldn't see it. I strained my knee and ankle, but not severely. I was sore for the rest of the trip. They need to put something on those stairs so people can see. My husband also had to be careful at night going down the stairs.

Unclean, unpleasant, over priced
Absolutely worst stay we've ever had. This place is not cared for and not clean. We will never stay here again or with Vacasa again. Have you ever used online dating? This stay was the equivalent of looking at someone photos, liking them and then showing up and realizing while that person is clearly the same person as their online photos, they don't really match anymore. Obviously they changed the lighting, cropped the photos strategically, maybe they're old photos, etc., such that you feel deceived. When you first walk in you are punched in the face by the horrible mold smell. And you then realize why, because there are two damp rid bags hanging from the curtains. One of which is completely full and needs to be replaced. Overall this place was not clean OR cared for. I ended up having to wash every dish since they were dirty and sticky. The signs on the walls were visibly dirty with who knows what. The brochure with wifi connection was dirty. I emptied out my travel hand sanitizer staying here. The floor gave grocery feet. I'm guessing it's related to dirty mop I found. It appears based on reviews that they replaced the floor, but if you don't keep it clean between guests, it's still dirty, even if it's new. The is no central A/C, just a wall unit. And you'll practically go deaf from how loud it is. A couple times I couldn't take the sound anymore and turned it off deciding I'd rather be hot and uncomfortable than yelling at the person next to me so they could hear me. The jetted tub in the bedroom definitely needs some TLC. It has broken jets and the hot tub on the deck is missing the head rests. These are not expensive items to replace. I own these things myself. I also know about care, so given the dirty state of everything else we didn't even consider using either. Please read through the reviews, someone who stayed actually went and bought chemicals so they get in the hot tub. Let me tell you all, if the water stinks, NO chemicals will fix that, you will still get dermatitis. If a hot tub smells, NEVER get in. You also have to drive your trash to the office which is 3 miles away. That's then being cheap, the other houses have trash cans. For the price we paid this was ridiculous. FAR too much money per night for a cringey stay. We could've stayed in a VERY fancy hotel for that price. We def were robbed.

Hot tub was nice. Not very accommodating. Poor lighting in stairwell. Noisy ceiling fans, Noisy wall air conditioner. No electrical outlets on back deck, cant plug-in a fan or anything. Very small deck gets very hot especially if you start the grill. Would not recommend.

You couldn't even see out of the screen and porch the grow the grill was dirty there was a hole in the porch and there was a odor that wreaked and while we were there 3 days supposedly we had to have the Orchid above me come in and spray now I think that's ridiculous well I'm paying and I'm renting the cabin you should do that with guest art there and then that's when I got bit and I think I have to pay for this it's sickens

We loved the cabin! I only have a couple of complaints the boards on the deck where scary loose. We were afraid to get in the hot tub. The utensils were dirty. The oven was dirty. Above all we still enjoyed our stay. We would stay again. Highly recommend it!

Dog Friendly Cabin
Difficult parking area and no real area to walk your dog. The jacuzzi wasn’t very hot and my significant other got a allergic reaction from the water in the jacuzzi. The sweetheart tub was very nice and we enjoyed it more than the hot tub. Cabin was overall clean except for the stove was greasy and some dirty dishes. The floor is very cheap looking but for it to be a pet friendly cabin, it’s understandable. The bed is very comfy. We heard the strange noises but it’s not alarming if you are use to being in a secluded woods/mountains home. Quiet neighborhood. Overall clean. Pet friendly and it didn’t smell like pets at all. Just the smell of the fireplace. Close to Helen and Anna Ruby Falls. Perfect location to be right outside of all the attractions.
