property was very clean, we had trouble with the hot tub. hot tub was a top priority with our trip. staying in and enjoying relaxing weekend. we reported it as soon as we arrived, I guest I was texting a machine because they were always checking with local staff. we contacted them again several times Friday and Sat. just decided to come home a day early.

Enjoyed our stay 1/2 of the time. The property was nice however the pictures are misleading. It seemed like it was once loved but not so much now. No rocking chairs, the comforters were not nice like the photos, Hot tub wasn't working and was stinky. Dirty windows, no screens, Couches (not the ones shown) & not very cozy. One nice outdoor table with four chairs with a few random bar chairs. Loved the grill. Pool table was fun and we enjoyed the loft but you can tell the property hasn't had a lot of love.

The property was very spacious and generally clean. Very quiet location and conveniently located. The house was well-stocked with kitchen and bath items. A couple of things kept the overall rating lower. The hot tub only worked for 1 night. I called and texted about it every day and while someone did come out to fix it, they were unsuccessful. This was very disappointing since it was really the only amenity I cared about. The rocking chairs which are pictured on the listing were not there. I was told that they were subject to "wear and tear". Also, the code I was given to enter did not work at check-in. I did not enjoy having to call and text the property manager so much since I was really looking forward to relaxing vacation.

WELL STOCKED!!!!
We unanimously agreed that this cabin was an easy 8 outta 10. The bad about this cabin was the board leading into the hall. We tripped over it several times throughout out stay and I ended up breaking my cheap flip flop lol. The water pressure in the master bedroom is a little too strong. It felt like shooting needles while I showered. The good about this cabin: it had tons of cookware, dishes, cutlery, tumblers, blenders etc. We LOVED the amount of towels given along with separate towels for the hot tub. The hot tube water temp was PERFECT. All of the televisions worked. This would be a cabin I'd rent again🙂

Disappointing for the price
First impression-outside and front door dirty and need pressure washing. Several screens on porch were torn and grill was not functional enough to use. Master bath shower knob came off in my hand. Shower water pressure was so hard in upstairs bath we had to tie a towel around the shower head to even tolerate and afterward we found puddles of water that had leaked into the bedroom below, so upstairs shower was unusable. Water stains on the bedroom ceiling indicate this had happened before. Have stayed in much better properties for this price.

Nice place on very narrow road
Hot tub was low on water when we arrived buy property manager was responsive and had someone out to address it the next morning. Be aware that the road up to the house is extremely narrow and I found it nerve wracking driving on it - just one car can pass and there is no shoulder (drops off steeply below). Recommend 4 wheel drive for better handling and visibility. Also main roads was out just beyond the street that the house is on so we had to drive 25 minutes to Helen to get to trails just minutes away otherwise (Unicoi. Wish we had known that as we might have chosen a different location. Not sure how long the toad has been out or how much longer it will be out. Sonething to consider.

Overall, Would stay here again
The mirrors in the bathroom weren’t cleaned, but I overlooked that. The place overall was very nice, well equipped for us to have every meal there. The grill didn’t get hot enough but we made it work. The hot tub also did not heat above like 85° And it was really cold so it wasn’t really warm enough to use, which was a bummer because that was the thing we looked forward to most about the property. Other than that, we had a great stay and would come again if those things were fixed. Would recommend bringing your own pillows cause ours were as flat as a pancake.

Great weekend getaway
Really enjoyed spending the weekend here. Beautiful cabin and quiet area. Even with other cabins close by, we felt secluded. Pool table needs a little TLC as well as the stove, but everything worked. Kitchen was nicely stocked and the hot tub was a nice way to end the day. If I had anything negative to say, it would be that the grill is old and worn. Probably about time to replace it. Overall it was a wonderful and relaxing weekend.

The ease of booking is superior and the problem solving was very productive. We did have a problem entering; however the representative talked us through the process. We were issued another code to enter. My husband is an avid billiard enthusiast. He was extremely dissatisfied with the age and condition of the table. When I called yet another rep and explained the problem, we were issued a discount. The representatives were excellent in problem solving. However, We feel that with the price of the rental everything should have been top notch! This was our first visit to Helen and we will be back. We will research more thoroughly. though

Check in time was 4 pm, we didn’t get to check in until 4:45. We arrived @3:50. Lady was still cleaning. She was very kind. I’m glad she was there because the code I was sent didn’t work. The hot tub was clean. But it never got warm or even hot which was the main reason I chose this place. It was very disappointing. The leaves block the view but may be nice in the winter months. The house keeper did an amazing job. When asking if we could get a late check out or anything for the inconvenience of checking in late it was not an option. We did see 4 bears so that was exciting. The back door gets stuck so it is very hard to get in and out. We fixed it a little so if you turn it to the left on the inside and to the right on the outside it works.

After reading a couple bad reviews online, I was skeptical about a couple of things. I messaged the property manager and told them everything I was skeptic about and she reassured me things were fixed and good to go. Getting to the cabin was a bit tricky the first time but we arrived late at night and made it fine without having to turn around. When I had a couple of family members come up to the cabin, they lost service on their phones and went to the main offices and they were nice and let my family call me if their phone so I could meet them for then to follow me up. So you might want to print out or take a picture of the directions before hand if you're worried about that. Getting in the cabin was easy for us and we felt safe there. The rooms were perfect for our 3 couples and 3 kids. Beds were comfy, got good sleep, and 3 bathrooms worked out great! The upstairs carpet could use a good shampoo but other than that, it was clean and ready for us. The only issue we had was that the hot tub had an awful stink to it on the third day. I messaged the property manager that night and they had somebody come right out to drain, clean, and refill it. That made extra brownie points with me! I definitely appreciated that so my family and I could enjoy every second of our time and money spent there!! Thank you for the hospitality!!!

This cabin was dirty,hot tub smelled, ceiling in bedroom leaked had standing water in floor
It was one problem after there other the whole stay...I will not use Vacasa again....800.00 for a non working grill,smelly hot tub,leaking roof, the pool table was disgusting I've seen cleaner tables in hole in the wall bars,broken roll away bed and over cleanliness of cabin was horrible. And the list could go on!!!
