La Grangia is a 250sqm rustic and quiet chalet of an enchanting 6 chalets village (pedestrians only) called OLD GRANDS. Located in the heart of La Vialattea (7minutes by minibus from Sestriere), in front of the Chaberton peak, it is ideal for families or group of friends. It is composed of three floors, 4 bedroom (10 beds), a master bedroom with a king size bed, 3 bathroom (1 shower 2 bath), a wooden landing, a kitchen with 2 dining room (main one 12 guests) and a big chimney.

Old Grange is an enchanting six village chalets, across the Susa valley, in the heart of The Milky Way. In the 18th century, it was rebuilt in 1975 in the traditional style of the valley, stone for the bottom and wood for the top; located in a position boasting the finest views of the valley, encompassing the Gran Roc massif and the Chaberton peak. In this magnificent setting, the village is for pedestrians only. The Grange Vecchie with the center of Sestrieres - the famous for its miles of skyruns (the Vialattea) and the 2006 Winter Olympics for the Alpine Specialties. This particular Grangia is the only one that features an original piece: the kitchen where a stone is in the corner bears the inscription: 1714. The old house with its two sloping rooftops and a larch tympanum may seem to be standing in front of a paved road. The front of the stone, the original iron and wood doors, is particularly attractive in the summer, when the blossoming mountain flowers soften the sever look of the stone, making the prospect of outdoor dining at a rustic corner table very inviting. The interior is composed of three floors, is by no means ostentatious, its beauty plays on the natural contrast between the rough plaster and the wood wall. The five floors are composed by the kitchen, with a table that seats 5 guests, 2 fridges, a six fires stove, oven and dishwasher. a dining room that seats 12 people and is adorned with menus of famous restaurants; a bedroom with a king bed that is located five feet from the floor - with a baby bed underneath; a cupboard, a bathroom with shower. On the outside there is a garden with a table in the summer or on a sunny day; the view is opened on the sunny Sauze of Cesana valley and the Chaberton Peak. The middle floor is one of the entrance halls; a pantry for sky boots and coats; a big living room with sofas and seats near the big fireplace and at 50 "Plasma TV, Skybox; a twin beds bedroom plus one that slides between them and cupboard; a bathroom with bath. The atmosphere created by the typical pieces of mountains. From the entrance hall It is composed of a master bedroom with canopy bed and cupboards embellished with carvings made with traditional valley craftsmanship; a bedroom with a king bed and a single bed; a bathroom with bath. There is a wooden balcony outside the Master bedroom.

Fantastic period house with personality in beautiful setting
A historic and quirky chalet in a beautiful local village near seistiere (5 mins by car). You can spend hours looking at the decor - whether it be framed menus from some of the greatest restaurants or the copper pots and pans. A comfortable home with personality and history. We all loved it and will return. Warm and homely- with a very attentive owner. So much to like!

We had a great stay in Grangesises! Apart from the weather (fantastic!) the chalet was indeed a charming experience with its originality, personality, and comfortability. We truly enjoyed and spent substantial time looking at all the history the owners exposed in particular around food & wine and golfing. Thank you very much for having us!

un soggiorno meraviglioso
aankomst zaterdag 02/03/2019 om 17:00 uur met een heel charmant onthaal van juffrouw Eliza, toelichting van de charme woonst tot in de puntjes, even een vlotte rondleiding en dan nog eens aan tafel wat toelichten wat interessant is de omgeving qua skiën en verder toelichting wat betreft de belangrijkste en beste toelevering qua beenhouwerij, bakkerij en patisserie en andere artisanale producten. dus een pluim voor juffrouw Eliza !!! locatie van buitenaf, op terras een prachtig zicht vallei en omringende bergen, interieur een verzameling van gastronomische restaurantkaarten "een levenswerk van waarschijnlijk de papa", voor mij een super warm gevoel, alles was met smaak ingericht misschien wat overdadig, maar dit was het echte savoyarde met rustiek houtwerk rondom, verdiepen waren speels ingericht met alle nodige respect voor het oude en de traditie van regio, verder de keuken (mijn terrein) was ingericht met alles wat je maar kan bedenken, je zag dat hier geleefd werd, ik heb een dagelijks een gelukkig moment gehad om voor mijn kinderen en kleinkinderen in de grote "padela" te mogen koken en alles gezellig in het midden van de tafel te kunnen zetten. 's morgens aten we soms alle een dun biefstukje in de goede boter gebakken, "il mio macellaio ha detto per colazione, tu sei in recinto...", maar ik nodig je allen uit, een delicatesse !!! "basta per il cucina", verder alles net en keurig, verder de "master bedroom" met zicht op de vallei , wat wil je meer. de regio en toerisme is vooral voor "echte famiale italianen", aangename drukte zonder overrompeling. dus in het kort: "een beetje hemel op aarde", het kaartje klopt op alle gebied. wij komen zeker nog terug en zouden het zeker aan ieder aanbevelen !!! familie rudy pattyn.
