I stayed here on a business trip for a week. The hotel is in a nice spot and it is tucked away. When I got checked in and was given a room, i noticed that the top of the room door had a opening between the door and the frame of the door, to the point where you could see the lighting from the hallway. I brought this up to the nice young lady downstair and she offered me to swap rooms but i just ended up sticking a rag up there and pushing the chair they had in the room up to the door everynight. That was my choice and i appreciate her for trying to accommodate me. Next, breakfast does not have a good variety of things to choose from. The cleaniness if the hotel was okay. You could tell they upgraded some thing but not all. The hallway did always have an old smell to it and the carpet was very dirty. I know housekeeping is probably doing the best they can do but downstairs on the 1st floor was always excellent. I didn't experience the pool just because that was my personal preference. I never seen anyone in there my whole stay though. Overall, my stay was okay. The people and their customer service was excellent.
