The room was large with a seperate sitting area off to the side. The facility, grounds and room were very clean. Staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast included a variety of hot and cold food. There was plenty of well lit parking. Since it was next to a military facility, helicopters were flying during the day and late evening. This did not interfere with sleep. Overall the hotel was very quiet. Much quieter than hotels closer to the historic downtown.

Had to ask for body wash. No elevator on Tues on 3rd floor! No water on Wed my 70th bday! Breakfast cold on Monday..not as good as Sleep Inn! Barbara, mgr real nice!!!! Marvaline overnight was great!

I was not going to share my review of this property because they offered to make it right, but when the smoke cleared (and all of the credit card holds fell) it turns out… they didn’t. My regret now is that I didn’t take the pictures of the over flowing trash cans or the repulsively filthy “welcome” at at the door or the blackened arms of the chair and couch in the living area. The pillow on the beds were approximately half of a standard pillow and the bed was like laying in a board. That feeling of laying on a board was in stark contrast to the sofas bed which felt like springs with a blanket covering them. You could not feel any padding over them. My kids didn’t want to sleep on it which made our sleeping conditions even more crowded. The floor that had time on it in the bathroom area was sticky and you could hear your shoes make as they stuck to it when you walked. When we walked in the room, it smelled like mist feet. HOWEVEE none of that was my biggest problem. My biggest problem was that I have a mold allergy and I could not sleep all night long for being stopped up, sneezing, having itchy, watery eyes, and my throat burning and itching. I take seasonal allergy medicine but I had to add 3 Benadryl and some throat spray to try to soothe it, which it did not. That was the kicker. My allergies were not flared up when I arrived and they calmed down once we left. That left me with the major concern that there was probably mold somewhere (vents, carpet).

I was very pleased with my stay. Even though it was only for 1 night, I plan to return there. I brought my Granddaughter back to school at SCAD and the location was perfect. The breakfast was good, room was clean and the next time I will take advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub.

NOT kid friendly
NOT kid friendly…the front desk staff were rude to our children on more than one occasion for breaking hotel rules we didn’t know existed. I totally agree with enforcing rules, but not the way they spoke to them. To the point that our kids, who are seasoned and easy travelers, asked not to stay here again. Rooms clean but tired. Beds comfortable. Breakfast well below average. Indoor pool nice. Overall, not a great hotel and would not stay here again.

Concert goers
Came in town for a concert drive 4 hours and I’m glad this is where we stayed. Check in was quick, front desk lady was so sweet and professional. Room was spacious and clean. We stay again.
