Summary:
Tastefully modern garden-level apartment right on the beautiful, historic Jones Street. The owner of this unit is a famous Emmy winning Director, who just recently had the whole place remodeled. It is clean, modern and plenty bright with windows facing Jones Street and Barnard St. We are right in the heart of the Historic District with some of the most iconic restaurants and shops just a stone's throw away. We offer free WiFi, a Smart TV, washer/dryer and plenty of lounge space for a perfect, relaxing getaway!

The Space:
We offer a very spacious living/dining area with plenty of seating. We have a generously sized kitchen that is fully equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances for those who like to cook. We have a drip coffee maker for your use and we stock coffee and fixings to go with it. The queen bedroom has a dresser and a walk-in closet for those who like to pack a bit on the heavier side! The bathroom has a walk-in glass shower with modern tile. If you need to do laundry while you are here, there is a washer/dryer in the closet for your use :)

Guest Access:
You may use anything in the apartment that suits your fancy :) as we stated above, we have a free washer/dryer for your use in the closet by the bathroom. There is an outdoor storage area behind the front iron gate if you want to leave sandy beach chairs, wet umbrellas, etc.

The Neighborhood:
Our place is on the coveted Jones Street right in the heart of the Historic District in Downtown Savannah. We have a very safe neighborhood where many of the folks live permanently. It is tucked away just enough from the tourist areas so that it is quite at night, but just a quick walk to the action. Truly family-oriented! We are just under a mile away from City Market/River Street/Bay Street.

Getting Around:
There is a FREE shuttle that picks up just one block down Jones at the corner of Whitaker/Jones. This will take you up and down the Historic District and can drop you off at City Market. Otherwise we recommend using Uber/Lyft as parking around town can be pretty chaotic and is usually less than $5 to get anywhere.

Other Things to Note:
There are residents that live above, next door, behind, etc. (many of whom live permanently) so we just ask that you are respectful and courteous to your neighbors.

Interaction with Guests:
We are available to guests via mobile Monday-Friday 9am-9pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-8pm. We don't live far so if you should need anything or have any issues, just let us know.

I loved this little apartment on Jones St. Prime location with a parking spot!! That was a bonus. A two block walk to my favorite dining spot - Crystal Beer Parlor, and everything was walkable - I didn't move my car until I left! Apartment was well decorated without being over-the-top. The bed was comfy, great walk-in shower in the bathroom. I'd stay here again when traveling solo. Communication was timely and helpful!! Cheers!

This quiet Jones St. downstairs flat is close to all scenic squares and the Mercer House, tour trolly pick ups, restaurants and bars of all types (try the Crystal Beer Parlor 2 blocks away for a Savannah tradition!), and is located on the most picturesque street in town. Bed is comfortable; kitchen has upscale appliances and basic necessities. Stylishly decorated.

Amazing Location!
This rental is in the middle of it all. Perfect for a quite restful night, while also being in the middle of everything. It was an easy walk to the downtown restaurants, shops, historic sites, while also being close to the Forsyth Park area, with more restaurants and sites to visit. We loved being able to park our car off the street, and walking everywhere gave us the opportunity to see so many historic houses and squares. The rental was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Our only problem was a sticky door latch, which made it quite difficult to open the door from the outside (the response to our issue was quick and that's supposed to have been fixed). We highly recommend taking your car to the Starland area (easy, free street parking). Front Porch Improv has great shows, and the Starland Yard (open every day!) has a rotating schedule of amazing food trucks.

Great location and well appointed property. The odor of cleaning products was overwhelming in a bad way. We opened the windows to let in fresh air, but there were no screens so we shut them and endured the ridiculously strong smell. Being on the ground floor, we were afraid small animals, bugs, and people could enter the unit. I understood the bed was king size. It is not. It's queen size. Other then these 2 items, everything else was great.

Great location. Quit area. Very clean property. Walkable to all tourist areas including a Krogers. My recommendation for all visitors to Savannah is to make dinner reservations ahead of time unless you like to eat after 8:00 pm

Wonderful place on Jones St!
Right in the heart of everything and walkable to most of the things you would want to see in Savannah. Owners are right behind you in attached unit in case you need help with anything. Having offstreet parking was a godsend and a huge perk. Nicely appointed, clean, with everything you need. Definitely one of the better VRBOs I've stayed in.

Lovely Apartment in Historic District
We stayed in a lovely, updated 1 BR, 1 bath ground-floor apartment on historic Jones street. It was very clean and well appointed, with a full kitchen. It even had a private parking place in the rear!!! We only needed to bring our clothes. We could walk to nearly everything, including the museums and historic house tours. We only needed the car to go to Bonaventure cemetery and the grocery store. We thought it was a good value, and would absolutely stay there again.
