Historic Cottage with Private Courtyard and Parking by Lucky Savannah

Built circa 1876, this charming historic home home has been recently refurbished to showcase the home’s exposed ceiling beams and wide plank heart pine floors. Warm and inviting, you’ll feel right at home during your stay in Savannah!

The living room has a wall mounted television and a new leather sofa bed. Twin decorative fireplaces flank the dining area, which seats 4 to 6 people comfortably. The remodeled kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. A door from the kitchen leads to a private paved courtyard perfect to enjoy coffee, refreshments, or grill your evening meal.

On the main floor, the bright and sunny primary bedroom has a queen bed, a TV, dresser and a spacious closet. Adjacent is a full bathroom with a pedestal sink and a tub/shower combination. The upstairs loft bedroom has a king-sized bed, TV, a full bath, and full sized washer and dryer.

In the residential area of the Historic District, you’ll have a quiet and relaxing retreat to return to each night while still being within walking distance to several Savannah landmarks, including Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room and the infamous Mercer-Williams House of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

As a historic cottage, this home has original features uncommon to many of today’s homes. Specifically, the stairs to upstairs bedroom are steeper than newly built homes and should be taken into consideration for those with mobility issues.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. Property was close to Forsyth Park. Parking was tight. The house needed a deep clean, especially floors and bathrooms. Furniture needs to be replaced in living room and dining area - old worn and dirty, dining table worn and old, rug in kitchen dirty. Patio was nice but very overgrown. I would recommend only if property was cleaned and updated.

Stay in Savannah

The location was perfect for us, allowing us walking access to the area. The home was ok and workable. Don't plan on cooking much as there are limited cookware, etc. The supplies in general felt low ie paper products, towels, linens etc. That is a dissappointment and leaves me feeling not particularly welcomed. That is part of the experience I do care about. I have stayed in many homes that take this extra effort and it tends to show in all things. Those get 5's, thus a place like this gets a 4 or so.... We did enjoy our stay!

Southern Hospitality with charm

Lovely stay! We stayed here when we were invited to a wedding. This little historic cottage was within walking distance to all the great restaurants and sight seeing must does in Savanah! They even gave a great history of the property and properties around it. Meaning how things have changed since it was built, but as a history buff I loved the knowledge. The location
.!! walking distance everywhere and when I say walking distances I mean don’t blink you will miss something you should have noticed in Savannah! Enjoy this little gem because it will give you everything

Two-Nights in Savannah

Great location, quiet neighborhood. The cottage is comfortable and cozy. The stairs to the king bed are a little steep and require caution going up and down, especially when toting luggage. The cottage is well appointed and had everything needed for a relaxing stay.

Great Property!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is walking distance to many beautiful parks, great restaurants, and a mile from a nice grocery store. I recommend taking a trolley tour at the front end of your stay so you can see how close everything is to this property.

Historic Savannah Stay

We stayed at Mollys Cottage 4 nights including Christmas and had a pleasant stay. The location and property management responsiveness was exceptional. I would caution families with small children or elderly members from choosing Mollys cottage because of the steep stairs, however if your travel group is free of mobility concerns then Mollys is a perfect pick!

Beautiful property!

We loved our stay. The property was as described. The second floor bedroom is a loft. The courtyard was very nice. The location was perfect for us. I liked that there was a driveway specifically for this property. The dryer didn't work which was a little bit of a bummer just because we were on a long vacation and needed to do some laundry but definitely not a deal breaker. I loved there was a binder with the history of the home and the town. I would definitely stay at this property again if we came back to visit Savannah.

Visit to celebrate son's birthday.

Our stay was great. The property is in a great location—a very quiet area. It was our first time traveling with our pet, and it's a great area to walk your pet. The property was very comfortable and clean, and everything worked. It has a bedroom downstairs, which worked great for us. We felt very comfortable out at night. It was easy to walk to our lunch and dinner reservations. It has excellent parking and a cute courtyard. We had a great visit and a relaxing time with our son!

The home was in a good location, very close to the park, which was convenient.

Overall, the home was a perfect rental for us only one thing I Would suggest the first step down on the front porch is made 3two by fours. The problem being the other steps down, only have two boards. It is very deceiving for older people you have to Be very careful taking the first step down. A suggestion would be to paint the third 2 x 4 a different color than the rest of the steps going down so you can see that there is a separation between the landing and the first step down.

Perfect Rental in Savannah

I cannot say enough about this wonderful property in Savannah. It was the perfect location - we walked to almost everything! The two bedrooms and two baths were great for two couples! And the backyard oasis was a lovely respite after a fun-filled day.

Savannah Sanctuary

The perfect place to stay in Savannah. Within walk-ing distance to the beautiful parks and Broughton Street. Well stocked kitchen, very clean and cozy. The backyard is even prettier than the pictures - it’s a quiet little oasis, and I loved sitting there after a long day with a glass of wine and a book. We had a great visit! The patio out back is nice and shady. It was in a great neighborhood, quiet and easy walking distance to Forsyth Park. Lots of fun games to entertain while just chilling. We love staying in these historic homes, thanks for the history book provided on property.
