The property is excellent. It is within walking distance of River Street, City Market, restaurants, and pubs. Most importantly, it is clean and well-maintained. The only downside is the area around the main entrance, which smelled like urine. However, everything else was perfect. The staff was accommodating and very friendly.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Its on the lines of a run down motel, rooms smelled bad floors were sticky and the couch had enough stains you wouldnt even put your luggage on it.

Great place to stay in Historic Savannah
We stayed in a suite with king and sofa. Staff was terrific and always ready to serve. Being right next to City Market and across from River Street made walking to shop, eat and drink easy.

Not happy with hidden charges
Too many hidden cost . Parking is $48 per day. Destination fee not sure what that is was $25. Taxes and other hotel fees for another $57.. All this added up to additional $80 per day. They should tell you about hidden charges. Won't ever stay there again

Where do i start? We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom suites. Not an issue for us but beware those suites have a very steep set of iron spiral stairs to reach the second bed. So older people or people with bad legs, especially after walking all over Savannah may have a hard time usingbthose stairs. Just a disclaimer. Upon walking into the room it smelled like a moldy church basement. The toilet seat was broken, the refrigerator was broken and i have meds that have to be refrigerated so i had to buy a cooler and keep my medicine iced the whole time. Room service didn't replace any of the cups, water, coffee and only made one of the beds one time and emptied the trash once. We had a 2 bedroom with 4 people and they kept only giving us 3 towels and no washcloths. The shower was dirty and the wood floors were sticky. Then as we were checking out there were no carts to bring all of out stuff down and there was an error charging our card the first day and they were trying to take extra money from the card at 3 in the morning after the whole amount was on hold on our card. So they had to fix that issue which was not a huge deal just an extra hassle to a miserable expensive experience.

The staff was rude during check in and checkout, the elevator was out of service, the room smelled quite rank, the AC’s digital panel was broken and couldn’t regulate properly, and even though a do not disturb sign was on the door and checkout wasn’t until 11, the cleaning crew made sure to bang on the door repeatedly at 9:45. Lastly, they nickel and dime you with a $25 fee which they describe as a “destination fee.” When I asked, I was told it was because they are a premier destination. LOL! I booked this hotel because a friend stayed there a few years ago for a wedding, but it’s equivalent to a La Quinta or a poorly kept Econo Lodge. With all there bs fees they hit you with at the end, the pricing is comparable to much nicer hotels in the same area. Book the Desoto or River Inn. You’ll be glad you did, and your life will be better if you never spend a single night at the Indigo.
