Highly enjoyed the complimentary wine & cheese and warm cookies at night. The rooms were very quaint, attractively decorated and the bed linens were very comfortable. The staff was mostly friendly, helpful and attentive. I would have liked an offer of more fresh towels even if I turned down housekeeping. Needed water bottles in the rooms, and where was the ice?

Our Savannah Trip
We had a wonderful stay at Planters Inn. We arrived at the inn much earlier than check-in time and were surprised to find our room was ready for us. The room and hotel was so pretty and we felt at home immediately. We were able to start our vacation earlier than expected. A wonderful touch was the wine & cheese reception nightly. Chris was a most gracious host. The staff was pleasant and friendly helping with reservations and suggestions for things to do during our stay. Our room and bed was very comfortable and clean. Loved hearing stories about historic Savannah. We would definitely stay there again. Another bonus was having a wonderful dinner and cocktails at the Olde Pink House next door. Thank you to all for the memories.

The room was comfortable and spacious. Nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable but the small pillows left a lot to be desired. Look in the closet for a normal pillow. There was a large water stain on the ceiling. Repairs were poorly done which made each repair stand out. The shower curtain was top to bottom black mold. We asked for it to be cleaned or replaced and housekeeping replaced it before we returned to the room. While housekeeping was in the room there was NO service provided. Not even the trash removed. If you are at the inn for less than three days there will be no room service unless requested. And they mean it. We are not a messy couple but after seeing the disgusting shower curtain we showered with until we could get it replaced you would think a little attention would have been a nice gesture for the customer. Upon checking in there was live piano music which would have been nice except that the piano is close to the check-in desk that I could not hear a word coming from the desk clerk.

This hotel was everything we wanted and more. It was the perfect location centered to everything Savannah! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We came back to the hotel on the first evening, only fine wine and cheese in the lobby for all the guest and someone playing the piano, which was lovely! Beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. This will definitely be where we stay anytime we are in and around Savannah .

The cars racing and revving up their engines on the side road of the hotel until midnight. Many had problems falling to sleep.
