My family and I arrived late on a rainy night, and we were exhausted from traveling all day. The room we reserved wasn't available, and the clerk did adamantly try to find us a room. However, each option was scarier than the last. The first room we were offered was a 3 room, adjoining room combo for no additional charge; however, a hole in the mud seemed more cozy. The beds were either bare or partially made and obviously filthy. The tv looked liked someone had hit it with a baseball bat. and none of the adjoining doors had doorknobs or locked. Even scarier, only one door leading outside worked. The final room was the one we settled for. And not because it was nice, we were simply exhausted, wet,and cold. But it was far from better. For starters, the lock on the door was old and rusted, and looked like if someone even knocked on the door it would crumble. Luckily, the wall decor was scattered along the floor, so I made a barricade and The furniture was layered in dust. The bathroom was also dirty with poop stains in the clogged toilet. There were no towels, washcloths, soap,or shampoo. The ac was broken, but luckily it was a cold night , and the room was toasty. The bed was partially made, and there were no visible stains on these blankets, but with the state of everything else, we decided to use our beach towels instead just to be safe and less likely to catch scabies or a skin eating bacteria. On a good note, there were no bugs, and the clerk was a really helpful. But
