Unfortunately, I have to leave an unfavorable review. My family and I stayed at the DeSoto on 11/22/24. Once we arrived we discovered there was no parking near the hotel and was charged $40 to park in the Hotel’s parking garage. The room was nothing like what was advertised. For $300 I guess I expected more. The fire alarm went off at 12am. I am unable to walk because I am disbled. We were on the 6th floor and I had to pray it was a false alarm because the elevators were shut down. My family wanted to get an early start and checked out at 5:30 am. We went to the valet’s office to get our vehicle but the person was no where to be found. We waited 30 minutes before the man working the front desk took it upon himself to get our vehicle. To finalize my experience I almost stepped in a pile of dog feces in the main lobby near the revolving door. There were several employees working near by and no one thought to pick it up. The only positive experience was Gary the valet. He took care of us when we checked in and helped me by pushing my luggage cart to our room.
