MORE ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL CASITAS:
Guests always comment that the pictures don’t do the house justice. We think they do, so imagine if Casa Arriba is even better! The decor is organic and arty; sophisticated and reminiscent of old Greece. It's similar to the house in the film “Mama Mia”. Every detail was designed by the owner and handmade by Mexican craftsmen without electric tools. AC Azul and Tourquesa is offered during summer for an extra fee.
The kitchen is a fully stocked, poolside kitchen. An 8-person dining table and indigenous, equipale chairs plus a counter with four chairs are perfect for individuals and groups. The kitchen is for all guests and is shared which creates a great way to meet interesting people from all over the world. However in 18 years we find that most guests prefer sampling the many delicious restaurants in town vs cooking on vacation. Coffee and tea and whole milk to get you started are provided.
CASITA PIEDRA:
-Casita Piedra is a beautiful, cool, stone room on the main level with 1 queen and 1 single bed, mosquito netting, thick walls, a high beamed ceiling and a private stone shower and antique copper sink outdoors.
CASITA TURQUESA:
-Casita Turquesa is on the upper level next to Casita Azul. It features romantic mosquito netting over the queen bed; a charming ensuite; double closets, workspace, double French doors that open to the gorgeous ocean view, and a private balcony with sitting area. The large upper garden terraza with tropical plants is outside this casita and is perfect for yoga and/or lounging.
CASITA AZUL:
-Casita Azul is pale blue and white, reflecting the spectacular sky and ocean views. It features a comfortable queen bed with mosquito netting, an ensuite, table workspace, spectacular ocean views, and a private balcony with sitting area.
*All casitas have pitched ceilings with unique patate mat impressions in the cement
