This place was beautiful and clean. It has large beds, pleasant common areas and breathtaking views from the balconies.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pricilla was also very friendly, helpful and communicative.
But, given (relatively) high price of the property, I do have a couple of nits:
-The pool was cold and unusable for most of our stay. I get it. It’s a tropical environment so the sun takes care of the heating for most of the year, but not ALL of the year. I’m not sure if we just arrived at the tail end of a cool period, but the water was cooooold. Our kids wouldn’t even go in, which is saying something. Again, I don’t want to be too critical because the pool was lovely, but for the money we paid, we should’ve be able to use the pool the entire time.
-There is no washer/dryer for clothes. The staff has a washer/dryer for the sheets and towels, but guests don’t get to use it. I imagine this is because the sewer system and the ecosystem in Sayulita are both a bit delicate. They don’t want visitors doing 5 loads a night. I get it and I agree, but you should know this ahead of time and come prepared with a bit of detergent to hand-wash your essentials, as needed. Note: Pricilla did notify us of this in the pre-stay info sheet, so it’s not a knock on her communication.
-It can be a bit loud. Sound carries up the hill from town very easily. If it’s rocking, you’ll hear it late into the evening/morning. We were also during the Easter Weeks (an important holiday in Mexico) so maybe it was just extra loud for our stay. Earplugs and white noise apps can help.
