No.8 at Nirvana is a stylish, spacious apartment situated in the lovely, less crowded Spa area of Scarborough. Stunning views over the South Bay and the Spa are just five minutes' walk away with an easy walk to the town centre and all attractions. With Oliver’s Mount on one side and the sea on the other the apartment is located in a quiet residential area with a wide range of shops including a Sainsbury's Local, excellent restaurants, bars, and takeaway outlets nearby. The modern apartment has been newly furnished and is in a elegant period building with free parking, lift, fully equipped kitchen, Fire TVs, Alexa and fast internet. The beautiful North Yorkshire Moors, Whitby, Filey and Robin Hood's Bay are a short drive away.
Your place
The smart front entrance leads to the lift or a grand staircase to the 4th floor. Your apartment is at the front with views of the sea in one direction and Oliver's Mount in the other. A small entrance lobby leads to a spacious living room furnished to a high standard, with large bay window at one end and a fully equipped kitchen at the other. There's a very comfortable SNUG 3 seater double sofa bed with all bedding provided, an easy chair, dining table and chairs, smart TV, Amazon smart speaker, high quality lighting and fittings. The living room curtains and Roman blind in the bedroom are full black out. The kitchen has a hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine, fridge, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, Denby tableware, coffee, tea and milk are provided, in fact everything you need to eat, drink and entertain.
Off the living room is the bedroom with stylish furniture, high quality bedding, comfortable new mattress, wardrobe and Smart TV.
The modern bathroom with shower leads from the bedroom. All toiletries, freshly laundered linen and towels are provided. Ironing board, iron and hairdryer are also available so you can be ready to hit the town.
Getting around
Once you park with our free permit you won’t really need your car for exploring Scarborough as most of the attractions are close by, including the South Bay, Spa, South Cliff Gardens and Oliver’s Mount. The town centre, Brunswick Shopping Centre, Stephen Joseph Theatre, railway and bus station are also within easy reach.
The North Bay and attractions like the outdoor theatre and Peasholm Park are a little further away, around 1.5 miles (35 minutes walk) or there is a regular bus service along the sea front. ABC taxis are just behind the building on St Martin’s Road.
If you're taking the car we suggest you drive inland and explore the nearby Yorkshire Moors National Park, the magnificent chalk cliffs of Flamborough Head, historic Whitby or the quaint fishing villages of Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes. Robin Hood's Bay is also just a short journey away by bus if you prefer and the bus and train station are nearby.
The host is always available by phone or message and can meet up if you like.
