The spectacular sea views from the upstairs bedroom show you just how close you are to the sea front. The property has recently undergone a refurbishment into a modern, well-equipped cottage with tasteful decor and furnishings throughout. It is an ideal base for couples and families looking to explore this beautiful part of the Yorkshire Coast and is a haven for walkers and cyclists with lovely cliff top walks and cycle tracks located close by. The Sea Life Centre is a great family day out or you could take a trip out on one of the pleasure cruises, speed boats or fishing trips available. Scarborough Castle is only a few hundred yards from the property. The open air theatre, which is the largest in Europe has some excellent events going on throughout the year. There are numerous activities in Scarborough for all ages including Alpamare a new indoor/outdoor waterpark. golfing, fishing, indoor go carting, bowling and cinemas and lots more. A short drive will bring you to the historic town of Whitby from where you can board the North Yorkshire Moors steam train that will take you on a trip to remember through the glorious Esk Valley to Goathland and Pickering. The coastal resorts of Robin Hoods Bay, Sand send, Staithes and Runswick Bay are also within easy reach and well worth a day out.
