Lovely few days

The hotel was modern and clean. Beds comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely with a good selection for a continental breakfast. There were a couple of bars nearby. It was a little walk into the main town you could take a short cut climbing a good number of stairs. The Melqart Hotel is a lovely place to stay it would be even better if there was some outdoor space or a little bar area.

Nice enough place, odd location

A nice enough hotel, modern, nice staff. Balconies are nice but could use daily mopping. The rooms are comfortable but no frills. It's in an odd location, near the water but in an almost industrial area. The central area is up the hill. There is a good trattoria very close by. No shops.

Melquart Hotel

The Melquart Hotel was a clean modern hotel. The rooms were well equipped and the breakfast was lovely. I was a little concerned when we drove up and saw the condition of the building across the street, however, the area was quite safe. I recommend this hotel.

great urban modern hotel next to the historic port

We loved walking to the port and watching the fishing activities along the shoreline. We also enjoyed walking in the old town and public places in the historic core area.

Modern and spacious hotel

The hotel is located near the waterfront. The center of town can be reached by foot by going up the stairs nearby (5-10 mins). Parking no problem right in front. There are also a few restaurants near the hotel where we had good seafood. Breakfast was good with fresh coffee.

Good hotel, so-so location

This is a very nice, new hotel which was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and spoke English. The only down side, if any, is the location. It is across from a warehouse with no really nice views. However, it is a good value and we only wanted a good, clean, quiet hotel - the view was not important to us. They allow you to park in front for free. Local eateries are a short walking distance from the front door. Great hotel for the price.

New boutique hotel

WE had one of the few rooms with a balcony and it was a large one ! A few of the rooms have no outlook at all and most have a poor outlook. Important to specify top floor room. Staff very friendly. Parking good when we were there in May. If you don't want to drive and try to park in town centre you must face 200 steps up to town!

We stayed one night during our bicycle trip. The hotel is modern, nice and clean. You can walk to the city in 5 minutes. The local culture is just one footstep out of the hotel.

Struttura moderna, la camera aveva un bagno spazioso e pulito. Ottimo servizio di reception con personale gentile ed efficiente. Buona la colazione. Hôtel mal situé

Hôtel situé près d'une poissonnerie proche du port de pêche dans un endroit peu recommandable. Le petit déjeuner était juste satisfaisant. Si c'était à refaire, nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet hôtel car dès 10 heures 20 si vous n'avez pas quitté votre chambre, l'électricité de la chambre est coupée.
