As a family of 4 we stayed in the one bedroom en suite apartment with its own outdoor deck and bbq and use of a pretty communal garden area. The owners, Tracy & Jason, could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful, offering us free use of their bicycles and kayaks, the latter of which we had great fun using at the beautiful Seaforth beach - only a couple of minutes walk from the units. They also spent a lot of time giving us tips about the local area and for the next stop on our road trip at Airlie Beach. There is a small shop next door where you can pick up a few groceries, but knowing there were no large supermarkets nearby, we took most of our supplies with us. We, personally, found that to be part of the magic of Seaforth, it is fairly small, quiet and totally unspoilt and has such a lovely feel about it. It was the perfect base from which to visit the Cape Hillsborough Beach kangaroos at sunrise, another magical experience which we'll never forget. We only booked for 2 nights in order to see the roos however we all really wished we could have stayed for longer.
Thank you Tracy & Jason for a really wonderful stay. P.S. we booked Ocean Rafting for our day trip to Whitehaven Beach and they were just as fabulous as you said!
