First time staying at an OYO, read reviews as always prior to booking, seemed decent for price. Was better than expected except for shower got cold quickly (5 minutes or so) tub did not drain properly. Was standing in 4 inches of water nearly the entire time. Was in safe area. Quiet, beds and pillows were actually comfortable.

Coast River Inn was clean and convenient. Only a one night stay, but enjoyed the river view and comfortable room with kitchenette. I hadn't noticed that there was no AC, but it wasn't too warm when we were there. Nice oscillating fan in the room.

Read room description closely, may be one for your
With many different room options it pays to read the descriptions. At first was disappointed as the location looked like it was on a river, but we were on a street, didn’t see the river for apartments. There is a building closer to the river. The first thing seen when checking in was no air conditioning, see read closely, we didn’t need it, it was late September, not sure if it is needed, just heads up. The room we had had a four burning stoves, full size refrigerator and a dishwasher, also pots and pans. New comfortable king bed, if that is what you want, could be great, only one chair though. Read room descriptions closely before picking. Location not best, but walking distance to promenade.

Excellent value for money. The place has a strange layout with reception in a different building. The rooms were in great condition and very clean. Housekeeping staff was very friendly. Comfortable walking distance to center of the village.

You can tell they've recently tried to update with new paint. There's no a/c on site but since it is at the coast there really wasn't a need. They do have fans in the room which was perfect. Safeway was a couple blocks away with some other dining options nearby. They do not have anyone at the desk after 10 pm, so make sure you check in early or call. They called us to confirm our check in when we weren't there by 9.

Clean but a little dated. Bed was comfortable; bathroom/vanity lighting a little low, older style coffee pot (Keurig style preferred). Taffy was a nice touch.

Motel is sort of 70's retro: primary colors, pastels and all. Everything in the room we had was clean, and everything worked. We hope to stay again.
