Staff at check in and check out were wonderful and very welcoming. Bed was comfortable and room was clean, some things need updating or replacing but nothing that was a deal breaker. Pool was great, we will definitely return to stay at this property.

The property was well kept. But the pool needed a good cleaning.The staff was very nice and friendly. Dish towels would have been nice, drying dishes with paper towels seemed wasteful and inconvenient. But overall the room was great with a wonderful view

My wife is deaf so having captioning on the tv is important. On our tv it did not work. I let the front desk know and they sent the concierge to fix it. It took getting a tv from another room and he (Terrell ) did that with no problem. What a nice guy. More hotels should have service like that. The rooms could use some TLC but i think the new owners are trying. I would stay there again anytime.

Great location and a good weekday rate. We wanted to check in 90 min earlier than the 4:00pm check in time. Plenty of rooms available, very few cars in the parking garage. I was told that it would cost me $30 more to check in early even when rooms were available, clean and ready. I have never been told that! Not a good policy! Not a customer-friendly policy!

The staff was great! The location is great, right on the beach! The property itself is a bit rough. I think new owners are in the process of updating and fixing up this old weathered building, but it very much feels like a dilapidated relic. We'll see how much money they put into it...

This pool and especially the hot tub was so disgusting that there is no way the staff EVER clean it. The hot tub filter was black and caked with skin cells. Also the water was murky, not at the full line. The surrounding patio had old bandaids, TP scraps and clumps of hair. A literal health hazard. They shouldn’t be permitted to advertise they have a pool. (This was far beyond the usual muck you see at the end of the day during summer months). The rooms were extremely outdated and the plumbing is barely hanging on. The rooms advertised on the website are NOT the actual rooms. The carpet smelled strongly of urine. Absolutely disgusting. The worst place I’ve ever stayed.

We were checked into a partial ocean view king bedroom. The window was partially open and 4 different maintenance men were unable to open it further or close it further. The window had no screen but had imbedded wire in the glass. The window frame was dirty. The view was totally limited. Because the window did not open or close and we are elderly (77 and 92) we asked to cancel the reservation. After some discussion, the man on the front desk called us and told us he would cancel the reservation. We did not get reimbursed despite my calling multiple times to the hotel and twice to hotels.com. The expedia rep called the hotel when I requested a reimbursement and he said that the hotel claimed that I checked out two days later. I never moved into the room and went home immediately after leaving the hotel. I called to the hotel, again, and was told that they remember me leaving but that "Neil checked out two days later". Simply NOT TRUE. We are still waiting for the money! Hotel is not nice, staff is not helpful and I would advise you avoid it at all costs!
