American Best Value Inn at Lynnwood was perfect for a budget motel and close to Alderwood Mall and other shopping. Only issue I had was the bathroom door was sticky so every time you opened the door, ithere would be a loud screech

The hotel was very clean and tidy. Front desk staff friendly, and professional. The rooms are very dated and basic. Pictures are not indicative of actual rooms. I stayed one night and it was just fine, but the area seems a bit rough. It was quiet at night. Nice basic breakfast provided. Overall decent value for the price.

I felt safe staying there with my kids. However, the room was pretty outdated and didn't feel super clean especially the carpets and bathroom. That being said...I'd still stay there again if I'm in the area and need an inexpensive option.

The air conditioner wasn't cold and the mattress was poor quality and sunken in. As a result I didn't sleep at all, and was a wreck for my work meeting the next day.

Did not like the fact that beds and towels were addressed only every second day. We have never encountered this strange policy in any motel/ hotel we have ever stayed at anywhere in the world and we travel a tremendous amount. Only expected a made up bed and fresh towels ( if necessary ) but the management indicated their policy was to makeup beds and address towel necessities every second day—-not acceptable!

OK, certainly not great
The wifi didn't really work well at all in my room. I was at the end of the hall, farthest from the lobby. I could connect, but couldn't even load emails. As soon as I walked to the lobby, it worked great, so definitely location related. I was on the first floor and the floor above me was very loud. I could easily hear people above me walking around. Loud, squeaky sounds :-(

The staff is incredible. All are so friendly. It is vey clean and perfect for even longer stays. It is not modern but that does not matter. The kindness from the staff makes it better than the Four Seasons.

For the price, it is a great stay! Property is a bit dated, but the staff is friendly and accommodating. They offer a nice little breakfast spread and this location is very close to Alderwood Mall and tons of local and chain restaurants. Grocery stores are right down the street. It’s both walkable and accessible to the bus/light rail lines.

Clean and comfortable room with friendly staff. This hotel was an excellent choice for a short trip to the Seattle area. Close enough to Seattle attractions without the high Seattle downtown hotel rates.

My stay at this hotel was pleasant. If you are planning to visit Seattle and are looking for a budget accommodation, this would be a good option. Although I would suggest getting a rental car to visit around in Seattle if staying at this property as the Uber and Lyft charges are expensive to/from Seattle.
