Dystopian… self check-in with a helper like at a grocery store’s self check out aisle.
The check-in staff were very helpful and friendly, so none of this is their fault. They are just hindered and stuck cleaning up annoyances that likely stem from the entire hands-off design of this place.
Lights, window, shades, and TV and heat all operate from a single iPad, which was disconnected from the room, causing confusion and needing to be hard reset by us…(first impression).
(Second impression) Low quality shampoo/body wash was poorly labeled and confusing because there were three slots, but only two dispensers, and the pump on this dispenser was broken… hard to believe they try to salves stuff in the lobby, because it feels like dish detergent on your skin and hair.
Stepped out of the shower to notice that the as yet unused toilet had been very well used by the previous resident and not cleaned.
We lightly complained about this and we immediately put into a new room, which was much better, The staff was apologetic and very helpful, so all was well… so overall the nighttime checkin staff was great but the experience of this particular room, the relatively dirty hallways, and the overall vibe of the place makes me say I would not stay here unless you only need to put your head down for a couple hours and if the rate is a max of $110.
