Small luxuries = great stay

Fantastic customer service from the staff helping me to check in. Rooms are efficient and not large, but no skimping on the comfort and general luxuriousness. Personal fave was the School of Life books on the shelf above my bed and the solfeggio frequencies connected to a colorscape to help me wind down. The breakfast buffet is outrageously great.

Very futuristic and modern themed hotel that has a great view of downtown Seattle. Surprised my wife with a trip here and she absolutely loved all of the artsy things about the hotel. The staff was great and it was a friendly, safe, and chill environment overall. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting. However, they don’t have parking, so we used the Spot Hero parking app to book a place to park for the time of the stay across the street from the hotel and that worked out great👍

Save your money

I booked the wrong night by accident via hotels.com. Immediately called to change to the correct night with both hotels.com and Citizen M and was told by both entities I would only be charged for one night. On the night of arrival I also confirmed with Citizen M that this was indeed true and the front desk staff told me there was only one night charged. However hotels.com charged for both. Attempted to rectify this and hotels.com said they had tried to contact Citizen m for several weeks and couldn’t get a hold of them. So all in all very disappointed in Citizen m’s ability to provide help - also this isn’t the first time hotels.com has done shady stuff. My rec would be to avoid both. Hotel rooms were basic but lots of scuffs.

Nice clean property with comfy beds, conveniently located in the SLU. Also walkable atea and near trans lines, Whole Foods and restaurants. Rooms are modern with a smart efficient design. Nice deco in lobby with several seating areas. My complaints are: there was no coffee nor tea available in the room, and the food in the restaurant was average or below average, except for the breakfast buffet (very good).

This was a nice and hip hotel. The hangout areas in the first floor had such a cool vibe. The actual room reminded me of Japan. It was small but had everything you needed. The bed was comfy and the comforter was like a cloud. Parking isn’t great but that’s normal in a city area. Plus the location is pretty walkable if you don’t have a car. I’d def stay again!
