The atmosphere is unique with interesting design and aesthetics really related to the music/artistic theme. It's clean, not super clean but acceptable. The area is fairly convenient but also expect the usual city centre evening atmosphere.

Great walking distance to Pike's, Space Needle, downtown Seattle! Only downside to Hotel Max is that one of the elevators is out of order. When we went to check out, we waited over 15 minutes for the elevator. Each time it stopped at our floor, the elevator was full & we had to wait for it to come to our floor again. After multiple times of a full elevator stopping on our floor, we finally drug our luggage down the stairs & checked out. Not a big deal, but frustrating just the same.
