This property was great! Clean, friendly and right next door to Virginia Mason where we needed to be early in the morning for a surgery. We didn't explore the area, but the hospital had a great cafeteria/convenience store for dinner and breakfast. The only bad thing was the hill you walked up from the parking garage. There is a drop off spot near the door, but whoever parks will have to walk the block up the hill.

The hotel definitely needs to improve their Internet access as I was not able to the hotel network at all. Also the cable would go in and out. But it was nice to have a hotel right next door to the hospital.

Very easy to work with
Most of the front desk staff is wonderful but there are a few duds. Staff was very easy to work with when my husband’s stay at the hospital kept getting extended. Even telling me when they were going to be fully booked so I knew in advance. They were very accommodating and I appreciated that.

It is a beautiful old building. Don’t expect a huge, fast elevator or big spacious rooms. Do your research- it has a beautiful history!

This building is very old. The heating was terrible. We couldn't get the heat to rise when we turned it up. Then in the middle of the night it was really hot. The shower was nice and the room was pretty clean, considering the building is very old and dated.

It was close to medical facilities. Liked the Gideon Bible in the room. It was not handicap accessible. There were 2 steps to the door and another 5 steps to get to the front desk. Luggage had to be carried up to the front desk level, and then there was a cart you could use to go to your room.

There were dinged up furniture, broken tile, toilet that rocked , bed hard as a rock, flat pillows! It was quiet and clean ,There were pipes in bathroom that the wrapping was peeling and rusting

This was my second time staying here. I was upgraded from a king junior suite to the library suite which was huge! I'd recommend both rooms. This room was so spacious. It's the perfect place for a reasonable stay if you are having surgery/appointments at Virginia Mason Hospital.
