This hotel is relatively new and is in outstanding condition. The staff were pleasant and the breakfasts (included) were perfect for the traveller - full hot breakfast buffet. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. I particularly liked that they had a small table with two chairs for in-room dining. Why other hotels have only one chair is curious and inconvenient for couple travel. The hotel has a wonderful pool/hot tub plus a well situated work-out room. Overall, it is not the Waldorf Astoria , but for a small community such as Selkirk it was an excellent hotel to stay at. Hightly recommended if you are in the Selkirk/North Winnipeg area.

I stayed in Selkirk for two nights while attending the Icelandic Festival in Gimli. The staff are lovely and the room is spacious. Everything was clean. They welcomed me with my service dog. The window in the room opened and I was glad it did, because the air conditioner had a musty smell and the room was musty smelling. I hope they fix this because I really like this hotel.
