Shower and toilet seat are in the SAME space without any partitioning. The floor floods for 5 to 10 mins after you shower so if you need to use the bathroom then you're standing in inches of dirty bath water. Told the manager but he shrugged it off.

Service was excellent, from front desk staff to valet. They had the car already outside for us when we checked out. It seems to be an older building which they are working to improve. The hallways were stiffy and one of the bathrooms smelled pretty bad. We tolerated it since we were staying for just one night.

Wonderful
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Immaculate room, comfortable beds. Excellent location close to so many restaurants and walkable to some attractions. Valet parking so convenient. I find the hotel to be incredible value considering the room and service quality. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Seogwipo. The staff are so thoughtful, helpful, warm and kind - it really makes the stay extra pleasant. Thank you!

Comfortable stay in great location

Hotel the Grang hits all the right spots for me, such that I've been back for the 2nd time just 4 months later. Jay runs the hotel with Immense pride & he should be: - Hotel room public areas are very clean - Beds are super comfortable (firmness is just nice, sheets so smooth & cooling) - Air-conditioning can be adjusted separately (there's also floor heating for those cold days) - no worries on parking your rental car, Jay and his staff (Bruce & Donny) are always ready to take over with Valet service once you've arrived. - laundry service is available, check with front desk/Jay The hotel is walking distance to good food Olive Young Seogwipo Olle Market. Bonus for families: they have rooms set up for 2 adults 2 kids. Ultimately, the next time I'm back in Jeju - I'll definitely be staying with Hotel the Grang. Meanwhile - please enjoy a stay for me, already missing the whole experience.

We were a group of 6 including 3 young children. Our room was upgraded, to a very spacious and clean room although I have no doubt our original room would’ve been great as well. Location of the hotel was walking distance to the food market and other good options. There’s a GS25 across the hotel. The staff members made our stay much better. They were very friendly and greeted us every time we returned to the hotel from our daily outings. They also recommended different things to do especially traveling with children. There was no communication conflicts as the staff spoke English. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely stay at the Grang again, highly recommend!!

We had the best experience with Hotel The Grang. Mr Jay was extremely helpful and sincere at the same time. He is fluent in English and managed to answer all our questions and needs! Excellent location and hospitality! I have been to several five star luxury hotels but this place had unmatched top notch hospitality. The manager was very helpful, gave recommendations and made accommodations for us. When we told him we are hiking Halla mountain he even let us borrow hiking poles. The hotel has a great location, walking distance to several excellent restaurants, and easy walking to Olle Market. You can walk to the Cheonjiyeon falls as well. The small room is small but for the price I think it was good value. Definitely would recommend.

Amazing service from uncle Jay and team. Staff immediately assist with luggage and car as soon as we drove in. Jay upgraded our room to give the kids more space and they absolutely loved it. Location is great if you want to do shopping and walk down to the seogwipo market. Definitely wish we were staying for more than 1 night. Would definitely go back if we are traveling to Jeju again

Excellent Location, Service and Cleanliness
Our family of 5 booked two rooms at Hotel The Grang Seogwipo and it was a good "home-away-from-home", particularly for our two old aged parents. Jay is always ready to greet us in English and his conversational skills in Mandarin made our parents feel assured help is always there. Jay gave great advice on what we want or could do in Jeju and takes great care of his guests. We couldn't be more impressed with his dedicated service level. The hotel is also conveniently located near Seogwipo Olle Market (6 min walk thereabout) and lots to eat at the food street nearby. CVS are all around the hotel; Cheonjiyeon Falls is just behind it. The rooms are very well kept, clean and tidy. In-room heating works fine and firm mattresses is a big tick. After a long day of exploration, a good support bed/pillow is what you need a for an aching back. Thank you Jay and all the staff at Hotel The Grang.

It was a very spacious and nice hotel. The manager goes out of his way to treat every guest extremely well it seems that he even knows each one by name! The staff is extremely helpful and they all speak good English. We didn’t have the best breakfast, but he was very open to suggestions and before going into the island, he sent us a message stating that their breakfast had changed and gave us enough time in case We wanted to change our reservation. he also gave us an upgrade in the room and lots of suggestions!!!!!

Hotel staff was extremely thoughtful, helpful and friendly! My family and I all loved the stay. Condition of the rooms were excellent with both floor heating and A/C available which made the rooms very comfortable to our needs, unlike many other hotels with non-working temperature control especially during the colder months. Laundry and dryer machines were all in great working condition. Short walk to multiple convenient stores and a local mart. Close to the Seogwipo Olle Market as well! Loved it and would definitely go back again!
