There are 2 convenience stores nearby which was indeed convenient. Hotel staff were great assisting with check in and checkout. Loved the full size fridge and storage options in the room. The washer was nice and having a drying rack was great. I didnt lovw how dim the kitchenette area was. We had to leave the bathroom door open and occasionally get the entrance light to turn on just so we can see. The coin operated luggage storage was a bit disappointing, instead of them storing it for free. I understand that it would be very chaotic for a hotel of that size but still a bummer. Didn't have a car but free parking is nice for those who do. Good location for easy transit though not a whole lot of things to do in the direct vicinity. Overall it was nice.

New hotel but not ready for prime time. It’s in the middle of a redevelopment area, old businesses being torn down. Limited dining, no Starbucks! Breakfast is good. A bit far from tourist attractions. Access by subway lines 2 and 5, use airport limo bus if you have luggage. Limo bus stops at Kukdo Hotel which is a short five minute walk. Rooms have a small kitchen with microwave and washing machine. ATM in lobby. No pool, beds are good with daily housekeeping.

Once you’ve orientated yourself, you’ll realise the location is convenient. For first timers, it may feel just slightly away from the buzz of busier shopping streets but the quieter scene is not a bad thing. It’s tucked right amongst local businesses. There aren’t as many food options right downstairs but if you’re happy to walk a block or two, you’ll hit plenty. Safe location and easy access to metro. Convenience stores downstairs are handy. The rooms including bathroom are large by Seoul standards. The kitchenette and laundry is ideal for traveling families. Clean bedding and water provided each day. Very efficient check-in and check-out process. Staff are professional and helped us with a smooth transition for our bookings.

Great hotel and location. 20 minutes walk to myeongdong street. There is a subway station just right outside the hotel . And ok breakfast both traditional and western options .

Not much to do around the immediate area but the location has easy access to lots of transit which is super helpful. You can also walk like 15 minutes to Ikseon-dong which has lots of yummy food.

It was a great stay! Super convenient to take public transport and getting around the city! Right next to the stream too which is a beautiful walk. The room did feel a bit stuffy and humid even it’s the air on.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our 12-night stay at Hotel the Botanik Sewoon! Its location, staff and amenities are superb! All areas are well-attended and super clean. The breakfast buffet that can be purchased is stellar with as much variety as one could want! We highly recommend this hotel! The only criticism is the strange and inconvenient placement of the television in the Botanik Signature Suite. Otherwise, we were very impressed and comfortable.

This room had everything you could want a washer, a stove, a fridge, a steamer to steam up your clothes once you get them unpacked and also could be used to dry your clothes. was very close walkable distance to the night markets and the wholesale market.

This is close to line 3 and walkable to 2 other lines. Room is spacious for 2 bedroom except no door for 2nd room facing toilets, if light sleeper will be disturb by the traffic. I would return but choose a better 2nd room.

The rooms were nice but the beds were awful. We did not get a restful night sleep during our stay. The crib they gave us (daughter turned 1 during our stay) was broken and a screw was missing. This allowed her to rock the side panel and was very dangerous. The cleaning service only came once during our 5 day stay. We even requested it one afternoon and they still didn’t come. Breakfast was very expensive for a limited brunch and they had a lot of school children running around. Good location - close to a metro but not in the heart of Myeongdong like I was lead to believe. The airport shuttle is not actually apart of the hotel but a block away but that was easy enough.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. If you’re staying in Seoul this is an absolute must, I will be committing to this hotel for any future stay. Pros Friendly and helpful staff Central location near important subway lines Tax free convenience store inside hotel Superb cleanliness Affordable rooms Cons The only con is that the rooms aren’t full kitted out with everyone you need right from day one. You will need to ask for pots and pans etc but this is completely understandable and hardly an issue
