Awful experience, had booked for 10 nights but left after the first. Room photos are totally inaccurate, our room had a window totally blocked by a wall a foot away that seemed to house an enormous air con unit, the humm was so loud, we both woke up with splitting headaches. The air con in the room would not adjust the temp so we were sweating all night and the bathroom was impossibly small, been in korea for a month and it was the worst so far. To add to all this the main reason we had booked the hotel was because of the rooftop bar as it was my husbands birthday but when we arrived found it was closed for renovation (no mention of this or any of the other issues on expedia where we booked.) Thankfully left after the first night and have just checked into the Moxy Insadong and it is incredible and only slightly more expensive! And has a beautiful and open rooftop bar to save the day!

I always love to stay qt Ibis. Their room is little too small but the hotel provides everything you need. Underground laundry room, parking, free wifi. Great location. I love Ibis!

good choice of hotel, good firm beds and pillows, good shower, very small room, good a/c and fairly stable wifi, close to two underground stations. Breakfast was good but started VERY late (7:30), when doing day-excursions difficult to have breakfast so we had to skip it...

The hotel is located in a very accessible area near Myeongdong. The staff are all very polite and nice. The room was good enough for two people.

The place overall was very nice and convenient! Downfall was the bathroom, it was a little dingy and did not look like the photos provided. Cleanliness was ok, definitely tell it’s old but bed was clean and comforter was clean.

Very clean hotel and close to everything in the area. It is located just 5 minutes walking outside the main Myeong-dong shopping district which is convenient for two reasons: it is close to everything, and less busy so it doesn’t take forever for a taxi to pick you up (the streets in Myeong-dong are packed any hour of the day).
