LOTTE City Hotel Mapo boasts a fantastic location, directly connected to the subway for easy access, although there are a few staircases to navigate. The lift reaches the first floor, which isn’t sheltered, while the hotel lobby is on the second floor. Rooms, spread across the 2nd to 8th floors, are easy to find despite the building's unique layout. Security is excellent, with keycard access required for the hotel floors. Each floor features a water dispenser and microwave near the lift lobby, which is a convenient touch. The swimming pool has an additional charge, and while the gym is small, it’s sufficient for basic strength training. A supermarket in the basement offers affordable snacks and drinks, with numerous food options nearby. Cross the street for even more, including popular spots like BHC, Twosome Place, and Olive Young near Mapo Station. The Han River is also within walking distance if you're up for a scenic stroll. Additionally, the bus stop outside provides a direct airport limo bus service to Incheon Airport, making this hotel a great choice for convenience and accessibility.

Lottes to like about this hotel:)
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My only gripe was the fact that the sink design could’ve been a little better, when I would wash my hands I would always touch the basin of the sink. I’m a little germphobic and I constantly had to be careful not to touch the basin of sink. It was annoying. The gym was ok but could use better fitness equipment and I did like that they had a laundromat.

Overall, really good.
Shaky start with the first front desk staff. She was not very friendly or respected that I had questions. And then there were no swim caps available with the ridiculous swim cap requirement at the pool. Overall though it was good. Room was nice, clean and smelled great. Very spacious and plenty of places to plug in. Blazing fast internet. Gym and pool were good. Though, you have to be careful, pool can get crowded and unfortunately I saw many people staying in too long and taking space when it is so small. They need guest time limits for the pool. They have the shopping center right below the hotel so you have places to eat and even a full market to buy things you need or food. Very convenient place. Laundry room is nice. Overall, best place I stayed in all of Asia.

I stayed here 10 days. Loved the convenience of getting Uber and taxis, The supermarket on the bottom floor was very helpful, breakfast was very nice with my vegan diet with a good price, ate at the lower level Subway when wanting a taste of America, and the small 7-Eleven on site. My only con was my room smelled a bit stale (apparently) due to the traffic outside seeping through the air conditioning vents. I bought an air freshener spray, but the smell returned soon.

I LOVED my stay here! The room service is fantastic! The staff are very welcoming and helpful. There’s a lot of restaurants and stores within the hotel. Easy access to subway, bus or taxis. I definitely felt comfortable staying here and wouldn’t mind going back.
