Staff, weather it's housekeeping or front desk are super nice. It's very clean. For those who want to sleep in after 8 am, and are light sleepers, there may be an issue of construction noise. For me the noise never woke me up. Once up, it was slight inconvenience. There are two very nice restaurants on the property. One is owned by the hotel, is at the 27th floor. Other one is at lobby floor. The one on Lobby floor is a Halal restaurant serving, Middle Eastern and Indo Pak menu. I tried it and found to be excellent

This is my second time staying at this hotel and will definitely come back. The airport bus is right around the corner. Myeongdong market is 10 minute walk. Gwangjang market is 15 minute walk. Plenty of buses and trains nearby. Rooms are clean and decent size. The hotel also has a laundry room for guest.

The room has no drawers to place our clothes , five nights in the same room we have to pull out our clean clothes from our luggage , and there is only one luggage stand in the room, we understand hotel rooms can sometimes be small but there is not even room to place a second piece of luggage on the floor but the worst was the smell coming from the bathroom, the smell of sewage is constant, we have to keep the bathroom door close at all time and kept the room key plugged at all time even when we head out to see the city, in order to have the bathroom fan running to reduce the awful smell, I will not stay at this hotel when I visit Seoul again, maybe the other Lotte chain hotels are not like that, I will give Lotte another chance but not the Lotte City Hotel in Myeongdong

The location was great. Right in the center of all the major sites we planned to visit. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and up to date.
