Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at Lotte City for four nights during summer vacation, and my experience was comfortable and convenient. Location: The hotel's location is excellent. It is within walking distance of the vibrant Myeongdong shopping and dining area, making it incredibly convenient for exploring one of Seoul's most popular districts. Additionally, it's very close to the subway station, allowing for easy access to other parts of the city. There are always Taxis waiting at the hotel too. Convenience: There is a 7-Eleven store located within the hotel, and Cafe, ATM machine, gym and laundry room in the building.

Nice hotel close to Myeongdong Market
Returned to Lotte to be close to Myeongdong Market. Breakfast buffet was very good quality and service staff attentive. Rooms were typical size and complimentary water bottle is a small gesture but definitely welcomed. Hotel was close to subways and buslines.

Easy access to transport and shops. There was also a laundry which was inside the hotel which was super convenient as well as a gymnasium. There was a 7 eleven on the ground floor next door and cafe and restaurant inside the hotel too. Checking in and out was very quick and markets and ahopping are walking diatance. Just outside there was a lovely stream too.

Lovely property just outside of the busy streets of Myeongdong but close enough to enjoy. Would have liked more coffee options. There was no sugar or cream and the bagged coffee was weak. Otherwise it was a perfect visit!

For a solo traveller this is a good place to stay. Train station just 2 mins walk. 15 mins walk to main shopping street. Room was a little small but it’s ok for 1 person. Bathroom is ok not great but acceptable. There is also a laundry on the 3rd floor. Convenience stores are just next to the hotel. Airport shuttle bus is just opposite the hotel. For the price you pay I would stay here again

Overall I think the location of this property is one of the best in Seoul due to the markets / any shop you may need and all the attractions being a stone throw away. Additionally the bus and train stations are all less than a min away . there is a 7/11 in the hotel and a GS25 directly outside for convenience. I’d say the rooms are really nice but could do with modernising. Apart from that they were regularly cleaned with a big bed and spacious. The en-suite was nice and modern.

I spent just over three weeks at the Lotte Myeongdong, and it was truly a wonderful experience. This will sound a little strange, but, because the weather was so hot and humid in Seoul during my stay, the highlight for me was the spacious, comfortable, and high-pressure shower, particularly the rain shower-style head. Just a real luxury. Other highlights included the comfortable bed and wonder breakfast in the 27th floor cafe. My only criticism would be the small number of elevators (three), which would create lines and crowded trips during peak times. But that’s a minor inconvenience, all things considered. I also have to compliment the excellent staff at the front desk - they were friendly, responsive, and efficient.

Spacious room. The hotel has a coin-operated laundry room, an iron and a steam iron. There are available also drink water machines on some floors. There is a convenient store (7-eleven) and a cafe (Angel-in-us) on the ground floor. Central city location - walking distance to Myeong-dong (one of the very tourist shopping areas) and Insa-dong (with artistic and souvenir shops and plenty of traditional restaurants). Close to Euljiro 3 ga station subway station and to a bus stop where bus 6015 stops, which is a direct connection to Incheon Airport.
