The Olympic Forager House on the water with hot tub and kayaks

This magical setting on Sequim Bay offers a delightful place for your next Pacific Northwest vacation with private waterfront & tideland. Sooth your soul with the stunning views as you relax in the hot tub on the deck watching eagles soar & sea life frolic after a morning of gathering clams, mussels & oysters on the beach or kayaking in the bay. Take the kayaks/stand up paddles down to the beach from the private staircase or bike the Discovery Trail just around the corner. If you are looking for more adventure, the house is your launch pad to explore the incredibly diverse Olympic National Park.

Spacious living room can easily accommodate your group spending quality time together with unobstructed view towards the bay. Make s'more with the indoor fireplace. Let the cool and refreshing air in through the French door while you enjoy your lunch at the dinning area.

Fully stocked kitchen and gas oven and range allow you to cook with ease. Make your own hand poured Chemex coffee with freshly ground coffee beans at the fully equipped breakfast nook.

King size bed on the upstairs loft is also sun drenched and large. Upstairs bathroom has both shower and bathtub, and a double sink providing you ample space.

A queen size bed and a twin size bed in the down stairs bedroom for ultimate flexibility. The downstairs bathroom can be accessed from outside. Perfect place to get clean if you get wet from the salt water in the Bay, or just get back from the rain forest hike in Olympic NP.

Two single kayaks, one double kayaks and two stand up paddle boards is shared with us or other guests of the cottage to explore Sequim Bay. Enjoy the Solo Stove fireside chat with family and friends while enjoying the setting sun casting glow over the Bay. Grill with Traeger's original wood-fired grill on the spacious deck and enjoy the food on the outdoor dinning table.

We had a great weekend. The house was exactly as pictured. I even saw an otter while paddle boarding. We would definitely come back.

Peaceful retreat on the Water
We booked this for our “mini-moon” following a micro wedding in the PNW. It was just what we wanted! The check-in could have gone better as we did not get our code to enter the house when promised. We went into the nearby town for dinner and our host reached out after we contacted VRBO. The seals that swim in the inlet were charming. The neighborhood is quiet and requires a car to get around.

Fun time
We had a wonderful stay. The house has a fantastic view, hot tub, kayaks, and board games. Convenient to get to Sequim, Port Townsend, Port Angeles, and Olympic NP. The owner Michael was very nice and flexible. We brought our dog and unfortunately, he barks a lot when we were out. But Michael let us know and we worked out a solution. Spend 5 nights and had a great time.

Beautiful Retreat on the Bay
This house provided us with such a beautiful, comfortable, and serene place to rest and reconnect. The views are gorgeous, the house pristine, the beds comfortable, the hot tub, deck, and on-suite bathtub excellent places to relax, and the kitchen is a dream. We even loved the dishes! So thankful for such a wonderful place to get away and relax. Everything was excellent. We would love to go back!

Beautiful views and lots of wildlife
Great place to relax and enjoying breath taking views of the Puget Sound. Hot tub is ready upon arrival and the hosts have clear instructions on how things work. Dog friendly too! Pretty sure we heard a bobcat growling on our first night here and there’s lots of other wildlife around to see.

A peaceful place to reconnect
We booked the Olympic Forager as a family trip to celebrate my husband's birthday. We changed our minds and left the kid with Grandma and only brought the dog, lol! Although our 10 yr old son would have loved exploring the beach at low tide and all the trails at the park next door, we were thankful to have the time together to re-connect and be adults for the weekend. Just two old farts with our old dog enjoying the beauty and stillness of the place. Best part of the trip was having my husband "draw me a bath" in the luxurious tub:). Also the seafood, such good seafood! Truly Grateful, The Zantow's

Beautiful
Absolutely beautiful setting and was perfect for our family. Location was close enough to visit all the sights we wanted to experience, yet secluded and quiet. 30 minutes from Port Angeles where we took the ferry to Victoria, BC for an overnight stay (highly recommend). Spent 4 days visiting different locations in Olympic National Park. Although the drive was a bit further coming from Sequim, the Beauty of the location of this VRBO is Well worth the extra miles!! So worth it, we extended our stay!! One of the highlights of our stay was a visit from a Bald Eagle perched on a branch just off the back patio for 2 hours one morning. Not to mention the daily morning walks on the beach watching all the sea life- every type of crab imaginable, clams, creatures we still have to look up for identification, huge starfish, otters, seals, and all types of birds. The home was very clean, organized, and well equipped with all of the essentials. Michael and Echo have truly thought of every little detail that you would need, or just enjoy during your stay. Their communication was outstanding as well, and much appreciated!! We will be back!

birthday gathering
We enjoyed our stay. We were able to view a variety of wildlife, bald eagles and sea otters were close by each day. The house had nice touches of wildlife and nature books with posters of local wildlife on the walls. The owners responded promptly when we had a question. We would visit again.

Lovely waterfront house
This is a lovely house with stunning views. Michal and Echo are wonderful hosts and the house is well-stocked (including fixings for s'mores.) Only complaint is that the soaking tub was out of order during our stay but we very much enjoyed soaking in the hot tub.

Lovely View of the Bay
This property worked out perfectly for us. The bay views are perfect to wake up to and enjoy during a sunset soak in the hot tub. I believe the property owners live in another dwelling on the property but we never saw them so we felt like we had it to ourselves.

Waterfront Retreat
This is a nice waterfront getaway that has walking trails right out the front door. It’s a new listing, with the basis on amenities covered, though some room to grow with more comfortable lounging furniture and bed. Also, the home may be more suitable for warmer months as colder weather requires noisy wall heaters to be ON to heat rooms. A bit of a distraction with such a quiet and peaceful view.

Great place to stay on the pennisula
Very nice place and the hosts were great. The house is just like the pictures and is in a great location on the water. The house is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils. I really like the fact that they follow oriental customs of not wearing shoes in the house as it helps keep the place clean. We will go back for sure!.

Perfect stay for the Olympics
This house is a perfect base for our visit to the Olympic National Park area. Sequim Bay is truly a gem. I have never heard of it but we had so much fun paddle boarding here in the morning and camp fire at night. Our dog also had a great time swimming in the bay! Michael and Echo are excellent hosts. Their communications were quick and easy. You can tell they put a lot of thoughts into the house. The beds are comfy. I hope to be back soon!
