Had a good stay at the Desert Quiver. The rooms are basic, (but acceptable), the area surrounding the property is picturesque with the occasional Oryx wandering pass and check-in/checkout was smooth and efficient.
This property is very close to the the park entrance for climbing Dune 45 or walking to Deadvlei.
There is no restaurant at the property so we took the short drive to their sister lodge just up the road. The buffet was good but very expensive for Namibia, (meals and drinks cost around $50 per person), so make sure you arrive hungry and eat everything.
Overall, this lodge is very much as advertised and well priced. Our only small issues were the bar strictly closed at 9.30 each night, the outside cooking/preparation area needs some investment, (tough to be harsh here after two years of covid, so not a big deal) and the outdoor furniture at our room entrance was very uncomfortable, otherwise its a fine choice if you're in the area.
