Summary:
Endeavour enjoys fabulous ocean views of the Pacific Ocean and associated headlands and coves of 1770 where captain Cook landed all those years ago. Short walk to beautiful beaches, hidden coves and protected natural bushland trails. 1770 Marina and cafes are located a short drive or within walking distance for the more active. Agnes Water is an approximate 10 minute drive away where guests can find cafes, pub and other amenities including the pristine 5 km long Agnes Water surf beach.
The Space:
Nestled within the embrace of rustic surroundings, Endeavour offers a cozy retreat where guests can immerse themselves in the tranquility of nature. The accommodation features two bedrooms adorned with quaint charm – one with a queen and single bed, the second bedroom with a queen and two single beds.
A full kitchen is equipped with two fridge/freezers and a small box freezer. The spacious living area provides a welcoming space to unwind and reconnect. A single bathroom, complete with shower, toilet, and sink, offers modern comforts amidst the rustic ambiance.
Outdoor amenities beckon guests to bask in the beauty of the natural surroundings, and a spacious outdoor area featuring a BBQ and outdoor seating, offering panoramic views of the picturesque landscape.
There is air conditioning in the two bedrooms and fans throughout the property.
Up to two pets are welcome, please get in touch, there is an additional fee of $100 per pet per stay. However please note the property is unfenced but the deck is enclosed. Pets are not welcome inside.
Endeavour is ideal for unwinding and disconnecting from the digital world - Wi-Fi is not available. Please be advised that Vodafone does not work in Agnes Water & 1770 and other mobile carriers can be limited/patchy in the area.
Embracing the natural habitat, the property occasionally plays host to wildlife, with bugs, lizards, frogs, and birds making occasional appearances on the verandah and garden areas.
Guests are also advised of the property's layout, with several front stairs and an inclined back door, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility impairments. Ample parking space on the lawn area ensures convenience for guests arriving by car or boat, completing the rustic charm of this idyllic retreat.

The Neighborhood:
The area is surrounded by National Parks, pristine waterways and long stretches of unspoiled beaches which front onto the Coral Sea.
Along the headlands of Seventeen Seventy visitors are offered amazing panoramic views across Bustard Bay, the estuary & creeks.
We enjoy an excellent year-round climate with Queensland’s northernmost surf beach at Agnes Water for surfing and beach activities.
Along the Bay at 1770 you can walk along the parklands and enjoy kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding.
It is a short drive to the variety of cafes & boutique shops in the Agnes Water shopping Village or walk down to the beautiful Agnes Water surf beach for a leisurely day along the water.
A vibrant Sunday market takes place every second weekend.
Getting Around:
We recommend guests have a vehicle to travel around the area.
There is a shuttle bus that can offer tours, pick up/drop off services from your accommodation, the train station or airport. Please get in touch for more information.
There is a tourism information centre in Agnes Water.
Nearest airports: Gladstone and Bundaberg - 75 kilometres.
Nearest train stop: Miriam Vale - 50 kilometres.
Bus: Greyhound travels to the area daily.
The bus stop is at the Ampol service station in Agnes Water, approx. 8 kilometres away.
