"Neat & clean, this small home was perfect for my friend and me. It's located on a farm in a farming community, but being winter, the animals were not in evidence. We did hear the ubiquitous farm dog from time to time. Love it!"

"We had a great stay and definitely putting on my list of places to stay again! I wasn't sure of staying in a tiny house because I didn't want to feel too cramped. But, it felt more spacious inside than I expected. Very clean, and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was very nice, but a bit too cold for us to enjoy it. We'll have to come back in the summer. We booked this location because of its proximity to the Standing Stone Trail. It was a great spot for our adventure of hiking the trail, dinner at Checker's, then getting toasty warm after. Definitely would stay again!"

"Scattered family met here for Thanksgiving. We all enjoyed ourselves! 10 adults, 4 small kids, & a dog. We had plenty of room & things to do. Nicely stocked kitchen. The fire pit had nice benches & wood to burn although the description says it does not. We took different routes to & from the cabin & none of them were treacherous. The lake view is incredible! And a Christmas tree was there. Nice!"

"This property was comfortable with lots of little extras to make the stay pleasant. The location was a quick drive to Chambersburg to grab some groceries/carry out or to walk the rail trail. Or you can drive a little further to Shippensburg or Caledonia. The kitchen was well equipped, the oven and stove worked well, and we found some basics in the pantry...plus some extras like a great pancake mix! We found the two larger beds to be comfortable and there are lots of blankets to choose from to get exactly how you like to sleep. The shower had good water pressure and temperature, but its a high step to get into over the attached tub, which may be difficult if you have mobility issues. The dogs loved the large front and back yards, but the roads along both are pretty busy. It wasn't a problem for us because the dogs were always on a leash. The one thing that would make this property better would be some outdoor lighting, specifically around the parking area and the front and back areas around the breezeway area that connects the house to the garage. Carrying luggage or groceries into the house in the dark and eating dinner outside in the back, lit by the kitchen light through the windows, was quite difficult. Overall this is one of the best places I have stayed. It was a great home base to go to work and visit family, and also enjoy the natural beauty of Franklin county. dogs "
